For relaxed couple photographs, we like Vernon Park, a Victorian park on the banks of the River Goyt, and Stockport Viaduct, a huge Victorian brick railway viaduct over the Mersey valley gives the day a strong sense of Stockport.

From the mandap to the gurdwara and the nikah

From the kanyadaan to the saptapadi, or the first laav to the last, the ceremony tells its own story and we follow it. At a Muslim wedding, the nikah and the signing of the contract carry great dignity, and we cover them with respect. The kanyadaan and the joining of hands at the mandap are photographed with quiet care.

The sangeet is an evening of music and rehearsed dance, and we capture all of its energy. The dhol and dancing of the baraat are pure joy, and we capture every bit of the energy. We capture the groom's arrival in procession, on a horse, in a car or on foot, surrounded by dancing family.
