Nothing about it gets a second attempt, so we settle quietly into place before it opens instead of hunting for an angle mid-ceremony.
Cameras drop for recitation; a shutter across it is worse by far than an absent frame. Rukhsati is where the feeling actually lands, and it lands in a doorway, under the poorest light on offer, with a crowd pressed up behind. Preparing for that means settling in advance where a car will wait and asking that the strip between the two stays clear. Walima is calmer and can be worked slowly, which is usually where the portraits come from.
