Serving Waltham Forest
Waltham Forest is a green east London borough and former Borough of Culture. Across Redbridge, Haringey and the rest of Greater London, we cover the nikah, the walima and the celebrations with a careful eye. Whether your nikah is in Waltham Forest itself or elsewhere across Greater London, we plan the day around your venues.
We keep the calm of the nikah and the energy of the walima and dholki in equal measure. We work discreetly around the imam or qazi, never intruding on the ijab-e-qubool or the dua. We take time beforehand to understand your customs, from the agreeing of the mahr to the order of the walima.
We have photographed Muslim weddings throughout Redbridge, Haringey for many years, and Waltham Forest, a green east London borough and former Borough of Culture, is a familiar and welcome destination. We also cover nearby Wandsworth and Wealdstone. Venues we have photographed at near Waltham Forest include William Morris Gallery, The Great Hall and Chambers and Fellowship Square.
A green east London borough and former London Borough of Culture, known for its arts scene and links to William Morris. Served by Walthamstow Central station on the Victoria line and London Overground. For relaxed couple photographs, we like Lloyd Park in Walthamstow, with formal gardens and open lawns, and The William Morris Gallery in Walthamstow, set in Lloyd Park gives the day a strong sense of Waltham Forest.

What we offer
Pakistani, Bengali, Arab, Turkish and Somali nikah customs, each understood and honoured.
The groom's joyful baraat arrival with his family, photographed with all of its energy.
The proposal and acceptance said before the imam, the heart of the nikah, captured with reverence.
Every tradition
We are mindful of every family's customs at the nikah, Pakistani, Bengali, Arab or Turkish. The rukhsati, when the bride leaves with the groom, is the most tender moment, and we photograph it gently. A female photographer can cover the ladies' side of the nikah, so the women's moments are not lost.
The mehndi, the dholki and the walima each carry their own mood, and we photograph them all. Where the celebrations are segregated, we cover the men's and ladies' sides with equal care. From the first event to the last, we tell the full story of the celebration.

The whole celebration
We can join you for a single event or follow the whole journey from the very first celebration. Some couples keep an elaborate sequence of events; others a simpler one, and we shape coverage to yours.
We stay through the evening to capture the walima, from the grand entrance to the last dance. The story often ends with the rukhsati, as the bride leaves with the groom.
Why choose us
We have built our reputation on discreet, respectful coverage of the nikah and a genuine love of the work. Our long experience means a calm presence at the mosque whatever the day brings.
We are London-based but rarely in London; much of our work takes us to mosques and banqueting halls across London and the surrounding area. We factor in travel and prayer times carefully, so we are always in position for the signing of the nikah-nama.

Where we travel
From our London base, Waltham Forest and the rest of Greater London are an easy journey for your nikah. Distance is never a problem; travelling to your mosque and banqueting hall is simply part of how we work.

Of course. Whether it is an intimate nikah at home with close family or a walima of several hundred guests, we tailor our coverage to your day, giving a small celebration the same care and attention as a large one.
Always. We carry backup cameras, lenses and memory cards to every wedding, and back up your images on the day as we go, so your photographs are safe from the moment they are taken until your album is ready.
Yes. Our style is mainly documentary, so most of the day is captured naturally, but we will also gather a handful of timeless couple and family portraits, so your album holds both the candid moments and the elegant ones.
Yes. We photograph Pakistani, Bengali, Indian, Arab, Turkish and Somali Muslim weddings, and are familiar with the differences in their customs, the events they blend with the nikah, and the order in which the day unfolds.
