Serving Waltham Forest
Waltham Forest is a green east London borough and former Borough of Culture. Your celebration in Redbridge, Haringey is in experienced hands, from the milni to the doli. Whether your Anand Karaj is in Waltham Forest itself or elsewhere across Greater London, we plan the day around your venues.
We bring a long lens and a light touch, so the four laavan are captured from the sides of the gurdwara at a respectful distance. We photograph the sacred and the joyful with equal care, the Anand Karaj as faithfully as the bhangra. We are at ease with large, multi-day Sikh celebrations and intimate gurdwara ceremonies alike.
We have photographed Sikh weddings throughout Redbridge, Haringey for many years, and Waltham Forest, a green east London borough and former Borough of Culture, is a familiar and welcome destination. We also cover nearby Wandsworth and Wealdstone. Waltham Forest and the towns around it offer venues such as William Morris Gallery, The Great Hall and Chambers and Fellowship Square, all familiar to us.
A green east London borough and former London Borough of Culture, known for its arts scene and links to William Morris. Served by Walthamstow Central station on the Victoria line and London Overground. For relaxed couple photographs, we like Lloyd Park in Walthamstow, with formal gardens and open lawns, and The William Morris Gallery in Walthamstow, set in Lloyd Park gives the day a strong sense of Waltham Forest.

What we offer
Discreet coverage from the sides and back, heads covered, never turning from the Guru Granth Sahib.
From the Akhand Path and maiyan to the doli, every day of the Sikh celebration covered.
Punjabi and Sikh weddings across every family tradition, with the milni and the laavan understood.
Every tradition
We are mindful of gurdwara etiquette throughout, never turning our back to the Guru Granth Sahib. From the milni to the final ardaas, the Anand Karaj tells its own story, and we follow it closely. The most sacred moments inside the gurdwara are captured with a quiet long lens, from a respectful distance.
The pre-wedding events are often where the most natural photographs come from, and we give them full attention. From the first event to the last, we tell the full story of the celebration. We photograph the chunni ceremony and the giving of the choora, and the emotion that comes with them.

The whole celebration
We can join you for a single event or follow the whole journey from the very first ritual. We arrive in good time for each pre-wedding event and stay until the celebrations wind down.
We capture the reception in full, the speeches, the first dance and the bhangra on the floor. We always recommend a little time for couple portraits, often after the ceremony, away from the bustle.
Why choose us
Years inside gurdwaras have taught us exactly how to photograph the Anand Karaj respectfully and unseen. We understand how much the four laavan mean, and we photograph the ceremony with the care it deserves.
From London we reach Waltham Forest easily, and we know the darbar sahib and langar halls of Greater London well. We are used to Sikh celebrations spread across several venues, and keep the day flowing from the milni to the langar.

Where we travel
We cover the whole of the UK for Anand Karaj ceremonies, so distance never stands between us and your gurdwara. Wherever your jaggo and your Anand Karaj take place across London and the surrounding area, we will be there in good time for the morning kirtan.
