Serving Tower Hamlets
Tower Hamlets is an east London borough taking in the Docklands. Muslim families throughout Hackney, Newham trust us with their celebrations, large and small. Whether your nikah is in Tower Hamlets itself or elsewhere across Greater London, we plan the day around your venues.
We respect gender-segregated celebrations and plan our coverage of the men's and ladies' sides with care. We move softly around the imam through the nikah, capturing the real moments rather than staging them. We read the rhythm of a nikah and walima and are always in position for the signing of the nikah-nama.
We have photographed Muslim weddings throughout Hackney, Newham for many years, and Tower Hamlets, an east London borough taking in the Docklands, is a familiar and welcome destination. We also cover nearby Uxbridge and Waltham Forest. Around Tower Hamlets we regularly photograph at Town Hall Hotel, Museum of London Docklands and Young V&A, among others.
An east London borough taking in the Docklands, with a diverse community and a mix of historic and modern skyline. Served by Canary Wharf station on the Jubilee line and Elizabeth line, plus the DLR network. When there is time for couple portraits, Victoria Park in the north of the borough, one of London's oldest public parks is a favourite, and Canary Wharf financial district and the historic Tower of London on its western edge makes a memorable setting.

What we offer
The groom's family walima feast, from the grand entrance to the last dance, captured in full.
The mangni, the engagement that opens the journey to the nikah, covered warmly when families ask.
The groom's joyful baraat arrival with his family, photographed with all of its energy.
Every tradition
The dua at the close of the nikah brings the families together, and we capture it with warmth. We work quietly around the imam so the nikah is never disturbed. The most solemn moments of the nikah are captured from a respectful distance with a quiet long lens.
The dholki brings evenings of singing and drumming before the wedding, and we photograph their energy. The mangni, the engagement that begins the journey, is one we are glad to cover when families ask. Where the celebrations are segregated, we cover the men's and ladies' sides with equal care.

The whole celebration
The mehndi and dholki are lively, colourful gatherings that set the tone for everything to come. The days before the wedding often hold the most relaxed, candid moments of the whole celebration.
We capture the walima in full, the speeches, the family and the energy of the floor. We stay through the evening to capture the walima, from the grand entrance to the last dance.
Why choose us
A thousand weddings in, we still find every walima unique, and photograph it that way. We bring the steadiness that only comes from photographing the mehndi and the walima for twenty-five years.
We factor in travel and prayer times carefully, so we are always in position for the signing of the nikah-nama. We photograph nikah ceremonies throughout London and the surrounding area, and Tower Hamlets is firmly within the area we cover.

Where we travel
We cover London and the surrounding area and beyond for the mehndi, the nikah and the walima, and travel further afield on request. From our London base, Tower Hamlets and the rest of Greater London are an easy journey for your nikah.

Good to know
Yes. We photograph many weddings with separate areas or timings for men and women, and plan our coverage of both sides with care. A female photographer is available for the ladies' side.
Yes. Alongside your edited digital gallery we design a hand-finished, fine-art album, so the whole story of your celebration, from the mehndi to the walima, is held in something beautiful to pass down the generations.
Of course. We regularly photograph weddings that blend cultural events such as the mehndi and the baraat with the religious nikah, and we cover fusion and mixed-faith celebrations with care, respecting the traditions of both families throughout the day.
Most Muslim weddings run from the morning preparations through to the walima, so full-day coverage works best. For multi-day celebrations, taking in the mehndi and the dholki, we tailor the hours to your events and your budget.
Very much so. We know the nikah by heart, from the ijab-e-qubool and the mahr to the signing of the nikah-nama and the dua, and we position ourselves so each moment is captured calmly.
