Serving Barnet
Barnet is a leafy north London borough. Wherever your events are held across Enfield, Brent, we plan the timings and travel with care. From Barnet we cover weddings right across Greater London, at mosques, hotels, marquees and banqueting suites.
We respect gender-segregated celebrations and plan our coverage of the men's and ladies' sides with care. We work discreetly around the imam or qazi, never intruding on the ijab-e-qubool or the dua. We photograph the nikah with warmth and respect, mindful of the meaning behind the mahr and the dua.
Much of our work takes us across Greater London; Barnet, a leafy north London borough, and the towns around it, including Enfield, Brent, are very familiar to us. We also cover nearby Bexley and Brent. Venues we know well in and near Barnet include West Lodge Park, Hendon Town Hall and Cavendish Banqueting Suite.
A leafy north London borough centred on the historic market town of Chipping Barnet, site of the decisive 1471 Battle of Barnet. High Barnet is the northern terminus of the Northern line. We often take couples to Oak Hill Park in East Barnet for a few quiet portraits, and The Hadley Highstone monument at Monken Hadley marking the Battle of Barnet is a lovely backdrop nearby.

What we offer
Discreet, respectful coverage at the masjid, at home or in a banqueting hall, mindful of prayer times.
Pakistani, Bengali, Arab, Turkish and Somali nikah customs, each understood and honoured.
The groom's family walima feast, from the grand entrance to the last dance, captured in full.
Every tradition
We anticipate the reading of the vows and the signing of the contract, so nothing is missed. The signatures of the witnesses that complete the nikah-nama are captured with care. We work quietly around the imam so the nikah is never disturbed.
The reception and walima are the joyful finale, with speeches, family and dancing. The pre-wedding events are often where the most natural photographs come from, and we give them full attention. We photograph the sanchaq and the exchange of gifts between the families with all of their warmth.

The whole celebration
A Pakistani celebration might open with the sanchaq and dholki, followed by the mehndi night. Tell us which events matter most and we will build the coverage around them.
On the wedding day, the nikah, the signing of the contract and the mahr build to the rukhsati and the walima. The wedding day itself is a journey, from the nikah and the ijab-e-qubool to the rukhsati and the walima.
Why choose us
A thousand weddings in, we still find every walima unique, and photograph it that way. Over a thousand celebrations have taught us when to step close for the mahr and when to stand back during the dua.
We cover London and the surrounding area and beyond for the mehndi, the nikah and the walima, and travel further afield on request. We are glad to discuss your masjid, your walima venue and the journey between them when you enquire.

Where we travel
From London we reach Barnet easily, and we know its mosques and banqueting halls well. We travel happily across Greater London and the surrounding counties for the baraat, the nikah and the walima.

Good to know
Yes, and it is one of our favourite parts of the celebration. We capture the henna, the music and the dancing in Barnet, and can bring a female photographer where the mehndi is a ladies' event, so nothing of its warmth is missed.
Yes. Many Muslim weddings have segregated celebrations, so we can bring a female second photographer to cover the ladies' side fully, discreetly and with sensitivity to your family's wishes, so the women's celebrations are never left unphotographed.
Yes. Alongside your edited digital gallery we design a hand-finished, fine-art album, so the whole story of your celebration, from the mehndi to the walima, is held in something beautiful to pass down the generations.
Absolutely. The mangni, the mehndi and the dholki are often where the warmest, most natural moments happen, and we are glad to cover them as part of your wedding, with a female photographer for the ladies' events where you wish.
Yes. The rukhsati, the bride's farewell as she leaves with the groom, is the most tender moment of the day, and we photograph it gently and with great sensitivity, staying at a respectful distance so the family's emotion is honoured.
