Serving Brent
Brent is a diverse north-west London borough. Muslim families throughout Harrow, Barnet trust us with their celebrations, large and small. We photograph nikah ceremonies at mosques, banqueting halls and homes right across Greater London.
We arrive early for the mehndi, stay late for the walima and keep pace with every part of the celebration. We are mindful of modesty throughout, and photograph the gender-segregated celebrations with sensitivity. We photograph the solemn nikah as faithfully as the henna and dancing of the mehndi night.
We are often in Brent for Muslim weddings, and from London the area, taking in Harrow, Barnet, is an easy journey. Brent is a diverse north-west London borough. We also photograph in nearby Bromley and Camden. Venues we have photographed at near Brent include The Clay Oven Banqueting, Brent Civic Centre and Wembley International Hotel.
A diverse north-west London borough known for the Neasden Swaminarayan Temple and richly multicultural communities. Wembley Park station is served by the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines. For pre-wedding and couple portraits, we love spots such as Fryent Country Park near Kingsbury, 103 hectares of rolling fields and small woods, with Wembley Stadium, reopened in 2007 with a 90,000 seat capacity and its landmark arch close by for a striking backdrop.

Every tradition
We photograph the signing of the nikah-nama by the couple and their witnesses with quiet attention. For many families the qazi conducts the ceremony, and we photograph it exactly as you keep it. At the heart of a Muslim wedding is the nikah, the marriage contract that joins the couple.
We capture the groom's arrival in procession, surrounded by celebrating family. We photograph the bridal preparations with a gentle, unobtrusive eye. We are glad to cover a single event or the whole multi-day celebration.

The whole celebration
The henna of the mehndi and the music of the dholki are rich with colour, and we make the most of it. The days before the wedding often hold the most relaxed, candid moments of the whole celebration.
Just fifteen minutes is enough for a handful of timeless portraits near your venue. On the wedding day, the nikah, the signing of the contract and the mahr build to the rukhsati and the walima.
Why choose us
Having covered many gender-segregated celebrations, we know how to photograph the ladies' mehndi and the men's side with discretion. We are award-winning photographers with a long history of Muslim and Asian weddings, from the baraat to the walima.
Multi-venue days from the masjid to the banqueting hall are never an issue; we plan the route and prayer times in advance. We factor in travel and prayer times carefully, so we are always in position for the signing of the nikah-nama.

Where we travel
We are glad to discuss your masjid, your walima venue and the journey between them when you enquire. Distance is never a problem; travelling to your mosque and banqueting hall is simply part of how we work.

Yes. We stay through the evening to capture the walima in Brent, from the grand entrance and the speeches to the family gatherings and the last dance, right through to the final guest to leave the floor.
Most Muslim weddings run from the morning preparations through to the walima, so full-day coverage works best. For multi-day celebrations, taking in the mehndi and the dholki, we tailor the hours to your events and your budget.
Of course. We regularly photograph weddings that blend cultural events such as the mehndi and the baraat with the religious nikah, and we cover fusion and mixed-faith celebrations with care, respecting the traditions of both families throughout the day.
