Cake cutting and the first dance sit close together at most receptions, so we plan the light for both at once rather than adjusting between them in front of a waiting room. Dhol players arriving is a small event in itself, and photographing the drums being tuned and the first beats gives your album a build-up to the baraat rather than only its arrival.
