Yes, and it goes best when you bring one extra adult whose only job is the animal. We take the group frames first, while the dog is still interested, then photograph it on its own. Bring treats it does not get often, and its own blanket if we are working at the Northwood studio. At Fryent, a walk before we start takes the edge off without tiring the animal out.

Absolutely. Nervous cats simply need time, and we give it freely. We keep the studio quiet and calm, let your cat explore at its own pace, and only begin once it feels curious rather than cautious. Patience, not force, brings out a timid animal's true character. Landmarks we can work with near Brent include Wembley Stadium, reopened in 2007 with a 90,000 seat capacity and its landmark arch.

A wonderful variety. Dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, rabbits, guinea pigs, horses and more all come before our lens. We are happy to photograph almost any pet, and glad to chat about an unusual one beforehand. Each session gets the same care, patience and quick timing. Outdoors in Brent we would head for Fryent Country Park near Kingsbury, 103 hectares of rolling fields and small woods.
