Personal-branding headshots in Tower Hamlets

What the job needs on arrival is modest: a stretch of wall with nothing on it, and enough floor to stand well back. We bring stands, lights and a portable background for when the wall will not do.

Each person gets roughly ten minutes, long enough for two crops and a change of expression. Results are reviewed on a laptop before we pack up, and the file you pick arrives retouched, trimmed square for a profile badge and wide for a site banner.

Why Tower Hamlets books our studio

LinkedIn crops your picture to a circle, so anything clever at the edges is lost. The face sits centre, framed from just above the head to the collarbone. Colour matters more than people expect on a profile: mid and deep tones hold the eye on your face, while a white shirt under bright light drags it downwards.

Personal-branding sessions build a small library of images to carry across your site, socials and press. Colour is checked against a neutral reference so skin looks like skin on a company website, rather than drifting towards orange or towards grey.

Headshot Photographer in Tower Hamlets, FAQs

Because the plan is settled before anybody moves. In Tower Hamlets we normally work in a room at your office, lighting it ourselves so the picture matches the finance convention without you leaving the building. If the softer independent look is what you want instead, Victoria Park or your own front room does it. Northwood stays the option for a plain backdrop and nothing else in shot.

Please do. A second or third outfit gives useful variety, especially for personal-branding sessions where a few looks help your images work across different platforms. We will help you decide which changes are worth making within your session time. We cover Tower Hamlets and nearby Bow, Bethnal Green and Poplar.

Not usually, and less so in Tower Hamlets than in most places. A crop tight enough for a financial team page is too tight for a conference programme or a press page, and the looser frame that suits an independent business looks casual on a corporate site. We shoot both from one sitting, same light and same wall, so you leave with a tight version and a wider one carrying room for text.

Yes, with a light and natural hand. We tidy stray hairs, soften shine and even out distractions while keeping you looking like yourself. The aim is a headshot that is polished and professional, never over-processed or unrecognisable. Outdoors in Tower Hamlets we would head for Victoria Park in the north of the borough, one of London's oldest public parks.

It depends on the package, but a single professional headshot is quick, often around twenty minutes once you are in front of the camera. Personal-branding and team sessions run longer, and we always keep the pace comfortable rather than rushed. Tower Hamlets is easy to reach: served by Canary Wharf station on the Jubilee line and Elizabeth line, plus the DLR network.

Tower Hamlets is well within our travel area. It sits close to Hackney and Newham, which we cover too. We cover Tower Hamlets and the wider London area for headshot photography, on location or in the studio, with no local travel charge.

An east London borough taking in the Docklands, with a diverse community and a mix of historic and modern skyline. Served by Canary Wharf station on the Jubilee line and Elizabeth line, plus the DLR network. Canary Wharf financial district and the historic Tower of London on its western edge is a well-known local landmark in the area.

A headshot booked here has to answer a question most places never raise, which is which of two conventions it belongs to. Canary Wharf is a financial district, and finance has settled on a narrow look. Tight crop, background either plain or thrown well out of focus, light even on both sides, jacket, nothing in the frame competing for attention. The long-established residential streets of the same borough are full of people running practices, small firms, studios and shops, and that work gets sold on approachability instead. Wider frame, some of the room left in, shoulder turned, jacket optional. Neither is better than the other. A picture made to the wrong convention still fails, because it arrives on a page among people who all agreed on the other. Settle that before the travel question, because the travel question deserves a straight answer. We work out of The Broadway, 21 Joel St, Northwood HA6, and this is an east London borough, so the two of us sit at opposite ends of the map. Canary Wharf station carries the Jubilee and Elizabeth lines and the DLR threads the rest of the area, so moving about locally is quick, but reaching HA6 is a genuine cross-London journey and we are not going to dress it up. What follows from that is simple enough. If you want the controlled finance look, the journey buys light that ignores the sky entirely. If you want the warmer version, we travel east and work in your own room.
