Canary Wharf station
Canary Wharf station in zone 2 is served by the Jubilee line, the Elizabeth line and the DLR, so colleagues coming in on different lines can all reach a sitting on the estate.

Kaushik brings a portable backdrop and lights to offices, coworking floors and workshops in Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Newham, Waltham Forest and Redbridge, so your LinkedIn or team photograph is taken where you already work.
The short answer
Yes. Kaushik sets up in a meeting room or a quiet corner of your office anywhere from Hackney Wick to Hainault, with a backdrop and lights, and photographs each person in turn. Each individual LinkedIn sitting in an East London office runs to around 20 to 30 minutes. East London sits about 16 to 20 miles from Northwood, so the travel for an office visit is quoted up front and set out in writing before you book, and headshot prices are given on request by phone or WhatsApp.
It was a pleasure working with Kaushik who managed to help me at short notice to provide official photos for professional use at very short notice and was able to support me whilst abroad. Thanks and would highly recommend their services.
I recently had a photography session here for my website, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The photographer was incredibly professional, calm, patient, and made me feel comfortable throughout the session. I absolutely love all of the photos, they exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for high-quality, professional photography

Docklands
Canary Wharf is a privately owned business district built on the former West India Docks, and it holds the headquarters of more than 150 major businesses. That means a lot of people need a current, consistent photograph for a staff directory, a pitch document or a professional register. Kaushik works inside your building: a meeting room with a few metres of clear floor is enough for a backdrop, two lights and a stool, and nobody has to leave the estate.
Not every Canary Wharf business has a floor of its own. A 2022 tenant list for One Canada Square included the flexible-workspace operators Level39, The Office Group and Regus/Spaces, and a bookable meeting room in a building like that suits a small firm's headshot morning. East of the estate, Canary Wharf Group is building Wood Wharf, a 23-acre neighbourhood on the South Dock planned to include 2 million sq ft of office space, so a business moving in there may want a full set of new photographs for its first website update.

Stratford and the Olympic Park
Stratford is an office address in its own right now. Stratford Cross, the neighbourhood formerly called the International Quarter, lies between Westfield Stratford City and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and its occupiers include the Financial Conduct Authority at 12 Endeavour Square and Transport for London at 5 Endeavour Square. Stratford station, in fare zones 2 and 3, is served by the Underground, the Overground, the DLR, the Elizabeth line and National Rail, which matters when colleagues come in from several directions for a team day.
On the Hackney edge of the park, Here East is the former 2012 Olympic Media Centre, reinvented from 2014 as a 1.2 million sq ft campus where about 6,500 people work and study, with tenants including Plexal, UCL and Loughborough University London. A start-up launching from a campus like that may need founder portraits and a matching team page at the same time. Further south, the Royal Docks host ExCeL, London City Airport and the University of East London, and Newham Council's administrative centre overlooks Royal Albert Dock at 1000 Dockside Road.
Creative workspaces
East London Tech City, also known as Silicon Roundabout, is a cluster of technology companies lying broadly between St Luke's and Hackney Road, across the boroughs of Hackney and Islington. Hackney Downs Studios on Amhurst Terrace, a former print works with more than 200 workspaces around a public courtyard, is another building where freelancers and small firms work side by side. Headshots for these businesses can be less formal: a plain wall with a little texture, an open collar, a relaxed half-smile.
In Waltham Forest, Blackhorse Lane was designated a Mayor of London Creative Enterprise Zone in 2021 and reaccredited in January 2026 through to 2028, and around 180 creative businesses work there under the name Blackhorse Collective. Blackhorse Road station, on the Victoria line and the Overground's Suffragette line, serves the area. For a maker, designer or studio owner, a headshot often works with some of the workshop behind you, so we can take a few frames at your bench as well as the clean backdrop set.

Redbridge
Ilford is identified as a metropolitan centre in the London Plan, with The Exchange as its main shopping centre and Elizabeth line trains from Ilford station. Redbridge Council has been turning Queen Victoria House, the former register office, into the QVH Business and Enterprise Hub, with workspace and support for start-ups and small local businesses. The Spark Ilford, another council project, is creating a cultural quarter around Redbridge Town Hall and Oakfield Road, with SPACE studios taking on the Town Hall building.
Hainault Business Park is a different kind of workplace: an industrial area of around 200 businesses, from large international companies to smaller firms, and a Business Improvement District since 2006, renewed at a ballot that closed on 27 November 2025. The council lists the Redbridge Chamber of Commerce, the Ilford BID, the Hainault BID and the South Woodford Society as its business networking partners. A member directory is often where an out-of-date photograph shows most, and one sitting can give you both a formal frame and one of you at work.
The sitting
A team day starts by fixing the three things that must not change: the backdrop, the light and the framing. Once they are set, the person photographed first thing sits naturally in the same set as the one photographed after lunch. From you we need a room with some clear floor, a rough list of names and someone to send people along in turn. Each person gets guidance on posture, chin and expression, and frames are reviewed together as we go.
Wear plain, mid-tone colours, bring a second top, and keep your glasses on if you wear them every day. You choose your frames from an online gallery afterwards, and each chosen image is retouched and delivered as web and print files. For a whole-company booking, the corporate headshots page explains the set-up in more detail, and the headshots page covers LinkedIn, acting and personal-branding sittings.

Planning
Canary Wharf station in zone 2 is served by the Jubilee line, the Elizabeth line and the DLR, so colleagues coming in on different lines can all reach a sitting on the estate.
Tower Hamlets Town Hall opened in 2023 at 160 Whitechapel Road, inside the Grade II listed former Royal London Hospital building of 1757, and Whitechapel station serves four lines.
Leytonstone station is a Central line stop on the zone 3 and 4 boundary, handy for anyone in the north of the area who wants a sitting before or after the working day.
Hackney Wick station on the Mildmay line and Dalston Junction on the Windrush line both sit in zone 2, within reach of Hackney's shared workspaces and studio buildings.
Each borough has its own headshot page: Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Newham, Waltham Forest and Redbridge.
These are the office districts, workspaces and stations that shape where East London's working people are photographed, each with a link to its source.

East London's boroughs sit about 16 to 20 miles from Northwood. The table shows each one's distance and links to its own headshot page.
Good to know
Headshot prices are given on request by phone or WhatsApp on 07956 505383, because the figure depends on whether it is one sitting or a whole team, and on where it happens. Travel from Northwood forms part of that written quote, so you see the complete figure for an East London office before you book.
Yes. Kaushik brings a backdrop and lights to a meeting room in your building and keeps the set-up identical for every person, so the team page matches from top to bottom. If your company works from a flexible-workspace floor, book a meeting room for the session and tell us its size when you enquire.
Yes. One visit can cover plain-backdrop headshots for the team and more relaxed founder portraits around the building, provided your landlord allows photography in the shared areas. Here East is on the Hackney edge of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and Hackney is about 16 miles from Northwood.
Around 20 to 30 minutes for a single sitting, which leaves room for a change of top and a few angles and expressions. Wear something plain in a mid-tone colour, avoid busy patterns and large logos, and if you wear glasses every day, wear them for the photograph too.
Yes. A site office or a corner of an industrial unit works as long as there is a small clear space for the backdrop. Office staff can be photographed against it and the people on the shop floor where they work, so the firm's website shows both sides of the business.
Hackney is the nearest, at about 16 miles, with Waltham Forest and Tower Hamlets at about 17. Newham and Redbridge are a little under 20 miles away. All of them fall within the 20-mile area where Kaushik travels for sessions, and the travel cost is set out in your written quote.
Yes. If you also need photographs of the premises, products or people at work, they can be planned into the same visit. Our commercial photography in East London page explains how those shoots work, and the East London photographer page lists every service in the area.
For one person it can be. The studio at 21 Joel Street, Northwood Hills is two minutes from Northwood Hills station on the Metropolitan line, so an individual sitting there involves no travel quote at all. For several colleagues at once, an office visit is usually the better use of everyone's time.
Kaushik Bathia, FBIPP and FMPA, photographs every session personally and has done so from the Northwood studio since 2001, with five European Kodak Gold Awards along the way.
