Serving Uxbridge
Uxbridge is a west London town and the civic heart of Hillingdon. We are used to multi-venue days throughout Greater London, moving smoothly between Ickenham, Hillingdon. Your celebration is in experienced hands, from the mehndi to the last dance of the walima.
We keep an eye on prayer times and the wishes of both families as the nikah and walima unfold. We are mindful of modesty throughout, and photograph the gender-segregated celebrations with sensitivity. We make sure both families are in the story of the walima, not just the couple.
We are often in Uxbridge for Muslim weddings, and from London the area, taking in Ickenham, Hillingdon, is an easy journey. Uxbridge is a west London town and the civic heart of Hillingdon. We also photograph in nearby Waltham Forest and Wandsworth. Uxbridge and the towns around it offer venues such as Abshar Banqueting and Denham Grove, all familiar to us.
A west London town and the civic heart of Hillingdon, with a busy shopping centre and long RAF heritage. Terminus of the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines at Uxbridge Underground station. We often take couples to Fassnidge Park with its boating lake, playground and green open space for a few quiet portraits, and The Battle of Britain Bunker at the former RAF Uxbridge site is a lovely backdrop nearby.

What we offer
From the mehndi and dholki to the nikah and the walima, every day of the celebration covered.
The groom's family walima feast, from the grand entrance to the last dance, captured in full.
Discreet, respectful coverage at the masjid, at home or in a banqueting hall, mindful of prayer times.
Every tradition
The signatures of the witnesses that complete the nikah-nama are captured with care. We are ready for the agreeing of the mahr, the gift from the groom to the bride. We photograph the blessings and the prayers of the imam with reverence.
The rukhsati, when the bride leaves her family home, is the most tender moment of the day. For many families the mehndi is the ladies' celebration, and a female photographer can cover it with ease. Where the celebrations are segregated, we cover the men's and ladies' sides with equal care.

The whole celebration
The pre-wedding events often span several days, each with its own mood. We can join you for a single event or follow the whole journey from the very first celebration.
We photograph the ceremony, the portraits and the reception in balance, so each is given its due. We know the order and timing of the wedding day, so we are always in position for each moment.
Why choose us
We have spent twenty-five years learning the detail of the mehndi and the nikah, and it shows in every gallery. A thousand weddings in, we still find every walima unique, and photograph it that way.
We will travel to your nikah, your walima and your mehndi and dholki, wherever they are held. Distance is never a problem; travelling to your mosque and banqueting hall is simply part of how we work.

Where we travel
Wherever your mehndi, nikah and walima take place across London and the surrounding area, we will be there in good time. We photograph nikah ceremonies throughout London and the surrounding area, and Uxbridge is firmly within the area we cover.
