Welwyn is a historic village in the Mimram valley, sitting on the line of a Roman road where a Romano-British settlement once stood. Welwyn North station serves the village on the East Coast Main Line, and the A1(M) motorway runs close by. When there is time for couple portraits, The Mimram valley meadows beneath the 40 arch Digswell Viaduct is a favourite, and The Welwyn Roman Baths, third century remains preserved beneath the A1(M) makes a memorable setting.
