Serving Maple Cross
Maple Cross is a Hertfordshire village in the Three Rivers district. We are used to multi-venue days throughout Hertfordshire, moving smoothly between Mill End, Sarratt. Right across Hertfordshire we photograph the colour and devotion of every event, large and small.
We arrive early for the mehndi, stay late for the walima and keep pace with every part of the celebration. We respect gender-segregated celebrations and plan our coverage of the men's and ladies' sides with care. We make sure both families are in the story of the walima, not just the couple.
Maple Cross is a Hertfordshire village in the Three Rivers district, and we love photographing Muslim weddings here and across the Home Counties. We regularly cover nearby Mill End and Oxhey as well. Local Muslim wedding venues we know near Maple Cross include The Grove, The Waterside Venue and Moor Park Golf Club.
A small Hertfordshire village on the western fringe of Rickmansworth in the Three Rivers district, made up largely of post-war housing. Sits beside junction 17 of the M25 motorway on the A412 Denham Way. When there is time for couple portraits, Maple Lodge Nature Reserve in the Colne Valley Regional Park is a favourite, and The Cross Inn, a seventeenth-century former coaching inn makes a memorable setting.

What we offer
The rukhsati, the bride's tender farewell as she leaves with the groom, photographed with great sensitivity.
A handful of timeless portraits after the nikah, taken quietly away from the banqueting hall.
From the morning preparations to the last dance of the walima, every event told as one story.
Every tradition
We photograph the blessings and the prayers of the imam with reverence. The ijab-e-qubool, the proposal and acceptance said three times, seals the marriage, and we capture it with care. From the ijab-e-qubool to the dua, the ceremony tells its own story, and we follow it closely.
Where the celebrations are segregated, we cover the men's and ladies' sides with equal care. We photograph the sanchaq and the exchange of gifts between the families with all of their warmth. The music and dancing of the mehndi are pure joy, and we capture every bit of the energy.

The whole celebration
Some couples keep an elaborate sequence of events; others a simpler one, and we shape coverage to yours. The mehndi and dholki are lively, colourful gatherings that set the tone for everything to come.
On the wedding day, the nikah, the signing of the contract and the mahr build to the rukhsati and the walima. We keep the day flowing, moving smoothly between the nikah, the family photos and the walima.
Why choose us
Our long experience means a calm presence at the mosque whatever the day brings. Families return to us because we treat the nikah, the walima and the mehndi each as they deserve.
We travel happily across Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties for the baraat, the nikah and the walima. We are London-based but rarely in London; much of our work takes us to mosques and banqueting halls across the Home Counties.

Where we travel
From London we reach Maple Cross easily, and we know its mosques and banqueting halls well. We photograph nikah ceremonies throughout the Home Counties, and Maple Cross is firmly within the area we cover.

Good to know
Yes. We travel to Maple Cross and across Hertfordshire for Muslim weddings, and further afield across the UK. The nikah, the mehndi and the walima are a speciality, and distance is never a problem for us.
Absolutely. The mangni, the mehndi and the dholki are often where the warmest, most natural moments happen, and we are glad to cover them as part of your wedding, with a female photographer for the ladies' events where you wish.
Yes, and it is one of our favourite parts of the celebration. We capture the henna, the music and the dancing in Maple Cross, and can bring a female photographer where the mehndi is a ladies' event, so nothing of its warmth is missed.
Yes. Many Muslim weddings have segregated celebrations, so we can bring a female second photographer to cover the ladies' side fully, discreetly and with sensitivity to your family's wishes, so the women's celebrations are never left unphotographed.
Yes. The rukhsati, the bride's farewell as she leaves with the groom, is the most tender moment of the day, and we photograph it gently and with great sensitivity, staying at a respectful distance so the family's emotion is honoured.
