Serving Mill End
Mill End is a Rickmansworth neighbourhood in the Colne valley. We regularly photograph Muslim weddings throughout Croxley Green, Maple Cross and the surrounding part of Hertfordshire. Right across Hertfordshire we photograph the colour and devotion of every event, large and small.
A female photographer is available for the ladies' side, so the women's mehndi and celebrations are fully covered. We follow your family's customs closely, from the sanchaq to the rukhsati, and photograph them exactly as you keep them. We make sure both families are in the story of the walima, not just the couple.
Much of our work takes us across Hertfordshire; Mill End, a Rickmansworth neighbourhood in the Colne valley, and the towns around it, including Croxley Green, Maple Cross, are very familiar to us. We also cover nearby Oxhey and St Albans. Venues we have photographed at near Mill End include The Waterside Venue, The Grove and Moor Park Golf Club.
A suburb of Rickmansworth in the Colne valley, historically a hamlet with a paper mill, tannery and brewery. Sits on the A412 Uxbridge Road, with the nearest station at Rickmansworth on the Metropolitan line and Chiltern Railways. For pre-wedding and couple portraits, we love spots such as Rickmansworth Aquadrome with Bury Lake and Stockers Lake, with The William Penn Leisure Centre, named after the former school on the site close by for a striking backdrop.

What we offer
Pakistani, Bengali, Arab, Turkish and Somali nikah customs, each understood and honoured.
Hand-finished albums that hold the whole story of your nikah, mehndi and walima.
Discreet, respectful coverage at the masjid, at home or in a banqueting hall, mindful of prayer times.
Every tradition
The most solemn moments of the nikah are captured from a respectful distance with a quiet long lens. We photograph the blessings and the prayers of the imam with reverence. For many families the qazi conducts the ceremony, and we photograph it exactly as you keep it.
The mehndi night is full of colour, music and dancing, and often holds the warmest moments of all. We capture the family moments around the bride and groom, not just the formal parts of the day. The mehndi, the dholki and the walima each carry their own mood, and we photograph them all.

The whole celebration
The days before the wedding often hold the most relaxed, candid moments of the whole celebration. The henna of the mehndi and the music of the dholki are rich with colour, and we make the most of it.
On the wedding day, the nikah, the signing of the contract and the mahr build to the rukhsati and the walima. From the nikah to the last guest, we follow the whole day at its own pace.
Why choose us
We are trusted with celebrations of every size, from an intimate home nikah to a walima of several hundred guests. We have spent twenty-five years learning the detail of the mehndi and the nikah, and it shows in every gallery.
We travel happily across Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties for the baraat, the nikah and the walima. From our London base, Mill End and the rest of Hertfordshire are an easy journey for your nikah.

Where we travel
We will travel to your nikah, your walima and your mehndi and dholki, wherever they are held. We cover the whole of the UK for Muslim weddings, so distance never stands between us and your nikah.

Good to know
You will receive a small preview soon after the day, followed by your full edited gallery. We then design a hand-finished album that holds the whole story of your celebration.
Of course. We regularly photograph weddings that blend cultural events such as the mehndi and the baraat with the religious nikah, and we cover fusion and mixed-faith celebrations with care, respecting the traditions of both families throughout the day.
Very much so. We know the nikah by heart, from the ijab-e-qubool and the mahr to the signing of the nikah-nama and the dua, and we position ourselves so each moment is captured calmly.
Yes. We photograph many weddings with separate areas or timings for men and women, and plan our coverage of both sides with care. A female photographer is available for the ladies' side.
Yes. We travel to Mill End and across Hertfordshire for Muslim weddings, and further afield across the UK. The nikah, the mehndi and the walima are a speciality, and distance is never a problem for us.
