We photograph the signing of the nikah-nama by the couple and their witnesses with quiet attention. At the heart of a Muslim wedding is the nikah, the marriage contract that joins the couple. We photograph the blessings and the prayers of the imam with reverence.

We capture the groom's arrival in procession, surrounded by celebrating family. From the henna of the mehndi to the music of the dholki, the events set the tone for the wedding. We capture the lively baraat as the groom arrives, with the family and the celebration around him.
