The Reception
The speeches, the first dance, the bhangra and the giddha, captured to the very last guest.
A Sikh wedding photographer for couples in Hounslow, capturing the four laavan and the shabads sung as the couple circle the Guru Granth Sahib, with the discretion the darbar sahib asks of a photographer.

Serving Hounslow
Hounslow is a hugely diverse west London borough with many Asian wedding venues. Couples come to us from across London and the surrounding area, and Heston, Cranford and Isleworth are firmly on our patch. Sikh weddings often begin early in the gurdwara, and we are always in good time for the milni.
We follow your family's Sikh customs closely and photograph the sehra bandi and the palla exactly as you keep them. Our approach is relaxed and documentary, so you can be present in your own Anand Karaj rather than posing for it. We arrive early for the gurdwara start, stay through the doli and keep pace with the reception.
From our London base we travel across Greater London for Sikh weddings, and Hounslow, a hugely diverse west London borough with many Asian wedding venues, is a familiar destination. We also photograph in nearby Ilford and East Ham. Local Sikh wedding venues we know near Hounslow include Heston Hyde Hotel, Honeymoon Banqueting and Takaa Tak Banqueting Hall.
A diverse west London borough close to Heathrow, with a busy High Street and a large mix of communities. Served by Hounslow Central, East and West stations on the Piccadilly line, with the A4 Great West Road running through it. When there is time for couple portraits, Lampton Park, the largest park in Hounslow is a favourite, and Osterley Park, a National Trust mansion and parkland estate makes a memorable setting.

What we offer
The speeches, the first dance, the bhangra and the giddha, captured to the very last guest.
Hand-finished albums that hold the whole story of your Anand Karaj and every event around it.
At home with the sehra bandi, the choora, the kaleere and the energy of the bhangra.
Every tradition
The exchange of garlands and the joy of the sangat around the couple are moments we love to photograph. The langar that follows the ceremony, shared by the whole sangat, is a moment of community we capture with warmth. We keep our distance during the laavan and the prayers, and step in only for the joyful greetings.
The day often opens early with kirtan in the gurdwara, and we are there for it. We photograph the chunni ceremony and the giving of the choora, and the emotion that comes with them. The maiyan, when turmeric is applied, is full of colour and play, and often holds the warmest moments.

The whole celebration
The maiyan and mehndi are intimate, colourful gatherings that set the tone for everything to come. The jaggo night brings an evening of music, dancing and candlelit pots before the wedding day itself.
We capture the reception in full, the speeches, the first dance and the bhangra on the floor. We document the grand moments and the quiet ones in between, so nothing is lost.
Why choose us
We are award-winning photographers with a long history of Sikh weddings in the gurdwara and beyond. Experience means we are ready for the early gurdwara start, the milni and the precise order of the four laavan.
We are London-based but rarely in London; much of our work takes us to the gurdwaras and jaggo nights of London and the surrounding area. We are glad to discuss your gurdwara, your reception venue and the journey between them when you enquire.

Where we travel
Reaching your gurdwara is simply part of how we work, and distance is never a barrier to covering the milni. We factor in the early gurdwara timings and the milni carefully, so we are always in position before the four laavan.

Good to know
Very. We photograph the four laavan and the prayers from a respectful distance with quiet, long-lens work, seated with the sangat, so the Anand Karaj is never disturbed.
Most Sikh weddings run from the morning maiyan or milni through to the reception, so full-day coverage works best. For multi-day celebrations we tailor the hours to your events.
Yes. We photograph Punjabi and Sikh weddings across the country and know the order of the milni, the sehra bandi, the choora, the four laavan and the doli.
Yes. For larger Sikh weddings we bring a second photographer, so the milni and the bridal preparations can be covered at once and both the ceremony and the guests are fully captured.
Absolutely. The maiyan, mehndi and jaggo night are often where the warmest, most natural moments happen, and we are glad to cover them as part of your wedding.
