Serving Haringey
Haringey is a diverse north London borough. We photograph Tamil weddings across Greater London, including Enfield, Camden, at temples, kalyana mandapams and banqueting suites. From grand banqueting suites to intimate temple ceremonies, we are at home in every South Indian setting.
We make sure the families are in the story too, not just the couple at the mandapam. The nadaswaram, the jasmine and the homam fire all have their place, and we photograph each of them. Timing is everything in a Tamil wedding, and we plan our coverage around the auspicious muhurtham.
We have photographed Tamil weddings throughout Enfield, Camden for many years, and Haringey, a diverse north London borough, is a familiar and welcome destination. We also cover nearby Harrow Weald and Hatch End. Venues we have photographed at near Haringey include Grand Palace Banqueting Suite and Green Rooms Hotel.
Haringey is a diverse north London borough spanning leafy hilltop neighbourhoods and busy town centres, with a wide mix of communities. Wood Green and Turnpike Lane stations serve the Piccadilly line, and Alexandra Palace station offers National Rail links. For portraits away from the celebration, Alexandra Park, with panoramic city views, open grassland and a boating lake works beautifully, and Alexandra Palace, the Victorian entertainment venue known as Ally Pally adds a real sense of place.

What we offer
Fine prints and framed art of the maalai maatral and the thali tying to bring home.
The exchange of garlands lifted high above the guests, a moment of laughter and joy.
For large celebrations, a second shooter covers the mandapam and the guests at once.
Every tradition
We keep our distance during the most solemn moments and step in only for the joyful ones. The nadaswaram and thavil announce the sacred moments, and we are in position when they sound. For Iyer and Iyengar families, we know the rituals and their timing and photograph each as you keep it.
The nalangu, the playful post-wedding games between the couple and their families, is full of warmth and fun. The paalikai, when the seed pots are prepared, is a quiet, lovely ritual we cover with a gentle eye. We photograph the bridal preparations, the draping of the Kanjeevaram silk and the jasmine in the hair, with a gentle eye.

The whole celebration
The mehndi brings an intimate evening of henna and laughter before the wedding day itself. Some couples keep an elaborate sequence of events; others a simpler one, and we shape coverage to yours.
The story often ends with the grihapravesam that welcomes the bride into her new home. We keep the day flowing, moving smoothly between the ceremony, the family photos and the reception.
Why choose us
We have built our reputation on reliability, warmth and a genuine love of the Tamil wedding day. We know the rhythm of a mandapam ceremony by heart, so the thali tying is always captured.
We cover the whole of the UK for Tamil weddings, so distance never stands between us and your muhurtham. Multi-venue days are never an issue; we plan the route and the early muhurtham timings in advance.

Where we travel
We are London-based but rarely in London; much of our work takes us to temples and mandapams across London and the surrounding area. Distance is never a problem; reaching your temple, your kalyana mandapam and your reception is simply part of how we work.

Good to know
Yes. Many Tamil muhurthams are set for the very early morning, sometimes before dawn, and we are used to it. We arrive in good time and are fully ready, so the sacred hour is captured calmly and without any rush.
Of course. We regularly photograph fusion and mixed-faith weddings in Haringey, blending South Indian traditions with another family's customs with care, so both sides of the family see their day told faithfully and beautifully.
Very. We photograph the thali tying, the saptapadi and the homam from a respectful distance with quiet, long-lens work, so the priests and the family are never disturbed and the sacred moments are captured just as they happen.
Absolutely. We regularly cover the nichayathartham, the mehndi, the wedding muhurtham and the reception across several days in Haringey, with additional photographers for the largest celebrations, so no ritual or family moment is ever missed.
Yes, and they are among our favourite parts of the celebration. The oonjal swing with its songs, and the playful nalangu games between the two families afterwards, are full of warmth and laughter, and we capture every bit of it.
