Haringey has busy high streets such as Green Lanes and Wood Green High Road, and a shopfront carries one specific lighting problem into every frame. The front of the unit is lit by daylight coming through glass, the back is lit by whatever is screwed to the ceiling, and the two are different colours. A picture containing both ends up with a warm half and a cold half, and no slider pulls them apart cleanly afterwards. The fix is to overpower the room with our own light instead of blending into it, which has the useful side effect that the shop's own fittings can stay switched on for atmosphere without wrecking anybody's skin.
