Serving Brent
Brent is a diverse north-west London borough. We are used to multi-venue days throughout Greater London, moving smoothly between Harrow, Barnet. We know the venues of London and the surrounding area well, and move easily between the temple and the reception.
We move quietly around the mandapam, capturing the thali tying as it happens rather than staging it. Our approach is relaxed and documentary, so you can be present at your own muhurtham rather than posing for it. We blend candid storytelling with a handful of timeless portraits in your Kanjeevaram silk and temple jewellery.
We know Brent, a diverse north-west London borough, and the surrounding part of Greater London well, having photographed Tamil weddings throughout Harrow, Barnet. We are often in nearby Bromley and Camden too. Venues we know well in and near Brent include The Clay Oven Banqueting, Brent Civic Centre and Wembley International Hotel.
A diverse north-west London borough known for the Neasden Swaminarayan Temple and richly multicultural communities. Wembley Park station is served by the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines. When there is time for couple portraits, Fryent Country Park near Kingsbury, 103 hectares of rolling fields and small woods is a favourite, and Wembley Stadium, reopened in 2007 with a 90,000 seat capacity and its landmark arch makes a memorable setting.

What we offer
Calm, unobtrusive coverage that captures the muhurtham and the mandapam as you lived them, never staged.
The gentle swing ceremony, the songs and the rice balls warding off the evil eye, captured with a warm eye.
For large celebrations, a second shooter covers the mandapam and the guests at once.
Every tradition
We are ready for the moment the thali, the mangalsutra, is tied around the bride's neck. For Iyer and Iyengar families, we know the rituals and their timing and photograph each as you keep it. We photograph the kanyadaanam, the giving away of the bride, at the mandapam with quiet care.
The pre-wedding events are often where the most natural photographs come from, and we give them full attention. We photograph the bridal preparations, the draping of the Kanjeevaram silk and the jasmine in the hair, with a gentle eye. The mehndi, the nichayathartham and the nalangu each carry their own mood, and we photograph them all.

The whole celebration
The celebration usually builds gradually, from the quiet of the nichayathartham to the joy of the wedding morning. The nichayathartham and mehndi are warm, colourful gatherings that set the tone for everything to come.
Just fifteen minutes is enough for a handful of timeless portraits near your venue. From the kashi yatra to the last guest, we follow the whole day at its own pace.
Why choose us
With twenty-five years and over a thousand weddings behind us, nothing about a Tamil muhurtham surprises us. We are award-winning photographers with a long history of Tamil and South Indian mandapam weddings.
We travel happily across Greater London for the whole celebration, from the kashi yatra to the reception. We will travel to your temple, your kalyana mandapam and your reception, wherever the maalai maatral and the thali tying take place.

Where we travel
We factor in travel and the early muhurtham start carefully, so we are in position before the nadaswaram begins. Wherever your kalyana mandapam is across London and the surrounding area, we will be there in good time for the auspicious muhurtham.
