We establish early what that room can give, then shape everything else around its limits, including the limits nobody mentions during a viewing.

Go and look at it during the hour you will occupy it, not on a quiet weekday morning, and ask where the windows point. Ask what the registrar permits as well, since registrars differ and finding that out on the morning itself is far too late. Victoria Square offers hard stone and strong verticals afterwards, though a public square arrives with strangers and weather attached, and neither of those takes instruction.

Couples from very different backgrounds arrive with an identical worry: nobody wants to spend their own wedding supervising a photographer.

Group photographs are the one stretch we actually run. A written list, plus somebody per family able to put a face to a name and go and fetch them, decides whether that takes a short while or half the drinks reception. Registrars vary too. One will have you at the front, another fixes you at the back throughout, and the legal core of the day is over long before most guests notice it has begun.

No. Stills are all we do, deliberately. A film crew works a room differently, wants its own lighting and takes up floor space, so if moving footage matters to you, book people who do nothing but that.

Do you provide a written contract?+

Yes, signed by both parties before a deposit is taken. It names the hours, the deliverables, the cancellation terms either way, and what becomes of your files after delivery. Weddings should not rest on goodwill alone.

Who designs the album layout?+

We do the first layout, working through the day in order, sizing each spread to suit the picture instead of forcing pictures into a template. Then you mark what to change. Most of the argument is about what to leave out.
