When there is time for couple portraits, Cannon Hill Park and the nearby Birmingham Botanical Gardens in Edgbaston is a favourite, and The Library of Birmingham and the Grade II listed Council House in Victoria Square makes a memorable setting.

Knowing the order of your day

We are ready for the giving of the sindoor and the tying of the mangalsutra at a Hindu ceremony. The most sacred parts of the day are captured from a respectful distance with a quiet long lens. For Gujarati families we know the hastamelap and the four mangal pheras and photograph each as you keep it.

The reception is the joyful finale, with speeches, the first dance and the bhangra. We document the engagement and pre-wedding events that begin the journey, when families ask us. We are glad to cover a single event or the whole multi-day celebration.
