The licence, not the daylight, picks your ceremony room, and every other decision bends around that. Some rooms face north and stay flat from morning to evening. Others have one bright wall and one that photographs like a cave. We would far rather look at yours in advance and say plainly which half of it works than find out during the vows, by which point there is no remedy left to apply.

Blackburn spreads a wedding across the town centre and out beyond it. A station sitting in the middle counts for more than couples assume, because guests arriving by train arrive on foot, which shifts when a receiving line can realistically begin. Corporation Park can take the outdoor half, and a mature Victorian park offers shade at midday that a flat municipal lawn simply cannot give you.

Do you bring a second photographer?+

For most weddings yes, and for a big one it stops being optional. A single camera cannot be on the aisle and on the faces watching the aisle simultaneously. For a short register office morning, one of us is plenty.

How many photos will we receive from our Blackburn wedding?+
