We photograph readings, rings and the signing of the register with a light hand, blending multicultural or fusion elements naturally when they are part of your day.

Rather than directing every scene, we let your day breathe and photograph it as it happens, stepping in gently only when a group shot needs a little order. A relaxed portrait session is woven gently into the day, timed around the best light, so you get a short breather together and a few frames to keep forever. You will barely notice us for much of the day, and that is the point; the less we intrude, the more relaxed everyone stays in front of the lens.

Bristol Temple Meads is the main railway station, on the Great Western Main Line to London Paddington. For relaxed couple photographs, we like Ashton Court Estate, a large country estate and deer park on the edge of the city, and Clifton Suspension Bridge, designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel across the Avon Gorge gives the day a strong sense of Bristol.

Whether you marry in a country house, a chapel or a city hall, we photograph the ceremony with restraint, letting the day speak for itself. When two traditions come together in one ceremony, we photograph each part with equal warmth so the finished set honours both sides of your family. Our approach to the ceremony is simple: watch closely, stay out of the way and record the promises exactly as you make them.

We follow the meal from the toasts to the coffee, photographing the speeches and the reactions, then move outside as the light softens for a few portraits. We photograph the speeches from more than one angle when a second photographer is with us, so you keep both the joke and the reaction to it. The cutting of the cake and the first dance often run close together, and we stay ready for both, keeping our light soft and our presence easy.
