We watch for the unguarded moments during the service, the shaking hands, the mouthed words, the parent wiping an eye, and hold them without interrupting anything.

We treat every wedding as its own story, so nothing is forced into a formula and the pictures reflect your people, your setting and your mood. We work in available light wherever we can, adding a soft flash only when a dark room needs it, so the images stay true to how the evening looked. Throughout the day we stay unobtrusive and adaptable, adjusting quietly to changes of plan so the coverage never feels stiff or interrupted.

Cardiff Central is the city's main railway station, a short walk from the castle and the shopping streets. We often take couples to Bute Park, around 130 acres of landscaped parkland behind Cardiff Castle, and Roath Park with its lake for a few quiet portraits, and Cardiff Castle, a medieval castle and Victorian Gothic revival mansion in the city centre is a lovely backdrop nearby.

We give the ceremony the room it needs, standing back so nothing feels posed, and we still catch the tears, the smiles and the steadying hand on an arm. The look you give each other as the words are spoken is often the picture you keep longest, and we are ready for it however your ceremony is arranged. Whether the setting is a grand nave or a simple garden marquee, we work with the available light and the sightlines to record the ceremony honestly.

We follow the meal from the toasts to the coffee, photographing the speeches and the reactions, then move outside as the light softens for a few portraits. We set aside a little time for portraits, walking with you somewhere quiet for a handful of relaxed frames that still feel like you. We cover the details you have laboured over, the flowers, the table settings and the cake, then return our attention to the people who fill the room.
