The Sacred Agni
The seven steps around the holy fire and the giving of the sindoor and mangalsutra, captured with reverence.
Relaxed, elegant Hindu wedding photography in Bournemouth, covering the mandvo, the pithi, the hastamelap and the four mangal pheras, with twenty-five years of experience and hand-finished albums.
Serving Bournemouth
Bournemouth is a south-coast resort with seafront venues. We photograph Hindu weddings across Dorset, including Poole, Christchurch and Ferndown, at mandaps, temples and banqueting halls. Whether your mandap is in Bournemouth itself or elsewhere across Dorset, we plan the day around your venues.
Our style is unobtrusive, so the day feels like yours and never a photoshoot. We blend candid storytelling with a handful of timeless, beautifully lit portraits. We are at ease with large, multi-day celebrations and intimate ceremonies alike.
Couples come to us from right across the South West, and Bournemouth is firmly on our patch. Bournemouth is a south-coast resort with seafront venues, and we know its venues well. We also cover nearby Aldershot and Brighton.

What we offer
The seven steps around the holy fire and the giving of the sindoor and mangalsutra, captured with reverence.
The dhol, the dancing and the groom's joyful arrival, photographed with all of its energy.
Calm, unobtrusive coverage that captures the day as you lived it, never staged.
Every tradition
The exchange of garlands high above the guests is a moment of laughter and joy, and we are ready for it. For Gujarati families, we know the hastamelap and the four mangal pheras and photograph each as you keep it. The saptapadi, the seven steps the couple take together, seals the marriage, and we photograph it with reverence.
The day often opens with a Ganesh puja for an auspicious start, and we are there for it. We capture the groom's arrival in procession, on a horse or in a car, surrounded by dancing family. The sangeet is an evening of music and dance, and we capture all of its energy.

The whole celebration
Some couples keep an elaborate sequence of events; others a simpler one, and we shape coverage to yours. The days before the wedding often hold the most relaxed, candid moments of the whole celebration.
Whether the wedding and reception are on the same day or spread across a weekend, we plan for it. We know the order and timing of the wedding day, so we are always in position for each ritual.
Why choose us
With twenty-five years and over a thousand weddings behind us, nothing about a Hindu ceremony surprises us. We know the rhythm of a mandap ceremony by heart, so the sacred moments are always captured.
We cover the South West and beyond, and are glad to travel further afield on request. We are glad to discuss your venues and the journey between them when you enquire.

Where we travel
Wherever your events take place across the South West, we will be there in good time. Distance is never a problem; travelling to your venues is simply part of how we work.

Yes. A pre-wedding or roka shoot is a lovely way to relax in front of the camera before the big day, and we are happy to arrange one at a location you love.
Most Hindu weddings run from the morning preparations through to the reception, so full-day coverage works best. For multi-day celebrations we tailor the hours to your events.
