We photograph the ganesh puja and the invocation that starts the ceremony with a steady, respectful hand, holding the priest, the fire and the family in a calm opening sequence. We are beside you for the sindoor, photographing the mark being placed and the smiles that follow, treating a small and sacred gesture with the attention it deserves. The baraat arrives loudest at the door, and we work from in front of the procession looking back, so the dhol, the dancing uncles and the groom all read in the same frame.
Before the wedding we often do an engagement or pre-wedding shoot, giving us time to get to know you and giving you relaxed, natural pictures ahead of the big days. The morning after the wedding, when the bride is welcomed into her new home, is rarely booked and always moving, and we are very glad to cover it when families ask us to.
