Couple Portraits
A handful of timeless, beautifully lit portraits amid the celebration.
Gujarati and Hindu wedding photography in Gravesend, covering the mandvo, the pithi, the hastamelap and the four mangal pheras, with respect for your traditions and an eye for natural beauty.
Serving Gravesend
Gravesend is home to a large and long-established Sikh community and the landmark Guru Nanak Darbar gurdwara. We travel throughout Kent for mandap ceremonies, and Northfleet, Dartford and Meopham are all familiar to us. From Gravesend we cover weddings right across Kent, at temples, hotels, marquees and banqueting suites.
Our approach is relaxed and documentary, so you can be present in your own wedding. We capture the emotion of the day honestly, from the laughter of the sangeet to the tears of the vidaai. We are calm and unhurried, gathering the whole story without ever getting in the way.
We know Gravesend and the surrounding part of Kent well, having photographed Hindu weddings throughout Northfleet, Dartford and Meopham. We are often in nearby Dartford and Maidstone too.

What we offer
A handful of timeless, beautifully lit portraits amid the celebration.
Calm, unobtrusive coverage that captures the day as you lived it, never staged.
The most emotional moment of the day, photographed with great sensitivity and care.
Every tradition
From the kanyadaan to the saptapadi, the ceremony tells its own story, and we follow it closely. We know the order of the mandap rituals by heart, so we are always in position. The saptapadi, the seven steps the couple take together, seals the marriage, and we photograph it with reverence.
The reception is the joyful finale, with speeches, the first dance and the bhangra. We are glad to cover a single event or the whole multi-day celebration. The mehndi night, the sangeet and the haldi each carry their own mood, and we photograph them all.

The whole celebration
The days before the wedding often hold the most relaxed, candid moments of the whole celebration. The pre-wedding events often span several days, each with its own mood.
On the wedding day, the baraat, the mandap ceremony and the pheras build to the vidaai and the reception. The wedding day itself is a journey, from the groom's baraat and the milni to the pheras and the vidaai.
Why choose us
We have spent twenty-five years learning the detail of Hindu weddings, and it shows in every gallery. Experience means we are ready for the muhurat timing, the early starts and the precise order of rituals.
From our London base, Gravesend and the rest of Kent are an easy, familiar journey. We are London-based and travel across Kent and the wider region for Hindu weddings.

Where we travel
We are used to celebrations spread across several venues, and keep the day flowing between them. We will travel to your mandap, your reception and your pre-wedding events, wherever they are held.

Yes. We are comfortable photographing respectfully at temples and around the mandap, working quietly around the pandit and the sacred fire.
Of course. Whether it is an intimate mandap ceremony or a celebration of several hundred, we tailor our coverage to your day.
Yes. We understand that the auspicious muhurat sets the pace of the ceremony, and we plan our coverage around it so the pheras and saptapadi are always captured calmly and on time.
