Couple Portraits
A handful of timeless, beautifully lit portraits amid the celebration.
Award-winning Hindu wedding photographer in Leicester, covering the mandvo, the pithi, the hastamelap and the four mangal pheras, told honestly and gathered into an album to treasure.
Serving Leicester
Leicester is a city with one of Britain's largest South Asian communities, the Golden Mile and many wedding venues. Hindu families throughout Belgrave, Oadby and Evington trust us with their celebrations, large and small. We photograph at temples, mandaps and banqueting halls right across Leicestershire.
We anticipate each ritual, so the jaimala, the pheras and the saptapadi are never missed. We are a reassuring, familiar presence, so everyone relaxes and the day flows naturally. Our approach is relaxed and documentary, so you can be present in your own wedding.
Leicester is a city with one of Britain's largest South Asian communities, the Golden Mile and many wedding venues, and we love photographing Hindu weddings here and across the Midlands. We regularly cover nearby Warwick and Loughborough as well.

What we offer
A handful of timeless, beautifully lit portraits amid the celebration.
The haldi, mehndi and sangeet, where the warmest, most natural moments often happen.
From the morning puja to the last dance of the reception, every event told as one story.
Every tradition
We photograph the mangalsutra and sindoor, the signs of the new marriage, with tenderness. The varmala and the madhuparka each have their place, and we capture them as they happen. The pheras around the agni, each carrying a vow, are the heart of the ceremony, and we capture them close.
We capture the groom's arrival in procession, on a horse or in a car, surrounded by dancing family. The griha pravesh welcomes the bride into her new home, and we are there for it. For Gujarati families, we know the mandvo, the grah shanti and the pithi, and photograph each with care.

The whole celebration
The days before the wedding often hold the most relaxed, candid moments of the whole celebration. The celebration usually builds gradually, from the quiet of the puja to the exuberance of the sangeet.
We document the grand moments and the quiet ones in between, so nothing is lost. The wedding day itself is a journey, from the groom's baraat and the milni to the pheras and the vidaai.
Why choose us
Experience means we are ready for the muhurat timing, the early starts and the precise order of rituals. With twenty-five years and over a thousand weddings behind us, nothing about a Hindu ceremony surprises us.
From London we reach Leicester easily, and we know the venues of Leicestershire well. We are London-based but rarely in London; much of our work takes us across the Midlands.

Where we travel
From our London base, Leicester and the rest of Leicestershire are an easy, familiar journey. We are used to celebrations spread across several venues, and keep the day flowing between them.

Good to know
Most Hindu weddings run from the morning preparations through to the reception, so full-day coverage works best. For multi-day celebrations we tailor the hours to your events.
Very much so. We know the mandap rituals by heart, from the jaimala and kanyadaan to the pheras and the saptapadi, and we position ourselves so the sindoor and mangalsutra are always captured.
Yes. We understand that the auspicious muhurat sets the pace of the ceremony, and we plan our coverage around it so the pheras and saptapadi are always captured calmly and on time.
Yes. For larger Hindu weddings we bring a second photographer so the mandap rituals and the guests are both fully covered, and the baraat and the bridal preparations can be photographed at once.
Auspicious Hindu dates book up well ahead, so we recommend enquiring as early as you can. Tell us your wedding date and we will confirm availability straight away.
