Serving Middlesbrough

Hindu wedding photographer in Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough is a Teesside town with a South Asian community. Wherever your events are held across Stockton, Redcar and Thornaby, we plan the timings and travel with care. Whether your mandap is in Middlesbrough itself or elsewhere across North Yorkshire, we plan the day around your venues.

We make sure the families are in the story too, not just the couple. We move quietly through the day, capturing the real moments rather than staging them. We work discreetly around the pandit and the families, never intruding on a sacred moment.

Wherever your venues are across Middlesbrough and North Yorkshire, we plan the route and the timings in advance. Middlesbrough is a Teesside town with a South Asian community. We also photograph in nearby York and Hull.

Every tradition

Honouring every Hindu custom

We are mindful of every family's customs at the mandap, Gujarati, Punjabi, Marwari or North Indian. We anticipate the muhurat, the auspicious hour that sets the pace of the ceremony. At the heart of a Hindu wedding is the agni, the sacred fire that witnesses the marriage.

The mehndi night, the sangeet and the haldi each carry their own mood, and we photograph them all. The reception is the joyful finale, with speeches, the first dance and the bhangra. The sangeet is an evening of music and dance, and we capture all of its energy.

The whole celebration

From the puja to the reception

A multi-day Hindu wedding can run across three or four days, and we plan our coverage around all of them. The turmeric of the haldi and the henna of the mehndi are rich with colour, and we make the most of it.

We always recommend a little time for couple portraits, often at golden hour, away from the bustle. We photograph the ceremony, the portraits and the reception in balance, so each is given its due.
