When the doli or the car pulls away, the family left standing in the road is the picture nobody thinks to ask for, and it is often the most honest of the whole day. The kanyadaan asks a great deal of your parents, and we photograph it with care, holding the tears and the release in frames that your family will return to for years. During the ganesh puja that opens the ceremony, we stay quiet and low, photographing the priest, the offerings and the small gestures of the family as the day is blessed.
The vidaai is the hardest moment of the day, and we photograph the farewell quietly, holding the embraces and the tears as you leave your family home with real tenderness. We photograph the first dance for the small things, the way you hold each other, the family singing along and the friends crowding in as the song comes to a close. The garba and raas ask us to keep moving, and we do, photographing the whirl of the dandiya and the colour of the outfits without ever slowing the energy down.

Groom's preparation is frequently under-photographed, and we give it the same time as the bride's, so the sherwani, the kalgi and the family around him are all properly recorded. Mandap builders and florists finish in the hour before guests arrive, and photographing the empty, completed ceremony space is only possible in that narrow window, so we make a point of taking it.
We keep pace with the mandap ceremony, following the jaimala, the kanyadaan and the pheras so each moment sits properly in the story. The day carries you from celebration to ceremony to farewell, and we shape our coverage so that journey is clear in every spread.
