We map those corridors during the ganesh puja, while nothing is moving quickly. By the point a varmala goes over a neck we already know the two feet of floor that put both faces in one clean frame.

Then arrives the part that punishes laziness. A circuit repeated around one fire, in unchanged clothes, past an unchanged row of relatives, will repeat itself in the pictures too unless somebody shifts between laps. Height changes, sides change, focal length changes, and for one lap our attention rests on the mothers instead of the couple. The sindoor and kanyadaan want the reverse: a fixed spot and no experiment, since neither comes round again.
