Temple & Mandap
Discreet, respectful coverage around the pandit and the sacred fire.
Award-winning Hindu wedding photographer in Tamworth, from the haldi and mehndi to the mandap ceremony and the vidaai, with calm, storytelling coverage and fine-art albums.
Serving Tamworth
Tamworth is a Staffordshire town with a historic castle. Couples come to us from across the Midlands, and Lichfield, Atherstone and Sutton Coldfield are firmly on our patch. Whether your mandap is in Tamworth itself or elsewhere across Staffordshire, we plan the day around your venues.
We make sure the families are in the story too, not just the couple. We photograph the sacred and the joyful with equal care, the agni as faithfully as the bhangra. Our style is unobtrusive, so the day feels like yours and never a photoshoot.
We have photographed Hindu weddings throughout Lichfield, Atherstone and Sutton Coldfield for many years, and Tamworth is a familiar and welcome destination. We also cover nearby Lichfield and Stoke-on-Trent.

What we offer
Discreet, respectful coverage around the pandit and the sacred fire.
From the jaimala and kanyadaan to the pheras and saptapadi around the agni, every ritual and its timing understood.
For large mandap days, a second shooter covers the baraat and the bridal prep at once.
Every tradition
We anticipate the muhurat, the auspicious hour that sets the pace of the ceremony. The varmala and the madhuparka each have their place, and we capture them as they happen. The blessings of the elders and the ashirwad close the ceremony, and we capture them with warmth.
We photograph the bridal preparations with a gentle, unobtrusive eye. The vidaai, when the bride leaves her family home, is the most tender moment of the day. We capture the lively baraat as the groom arrives, with the dhol, the dancing and the milni.

The whole celebration
Many families hold a roka or engagement long before the wedding, and a sangeet the night before. We arrive in good time for each pre-wedding event and stay until the celebrations wind down.
We document the grand moments and the quiet ones in between, so nothing is lost. Whether the wedding and reception are on the same day or spread across a weekend, we plan for it.
Why choose us
We have spent twenty-five years learning the detail of Hindu weddings, and it shows in every gallery. Over a thousand celebrations have taught us when to step in close and when to stand quietly back.
Distance is never a problem; travelling to your venues is simply part of how we work. We are London-based but rarely in London; much of our work takes us across the Midlands.

Where we travel
We are used to celebrations spread across several venues, and keep the day flowing between them. We are glad to discuss your venues and the journey between them when you enquire.
