We photograph the small moments of the mehndi as carefully as the vows of the nikah. We blend candid storytelling of the mehndi with a handful of timeless portraits after the nikah. We work discreetly around the imam or qazi, never intruding on the ijab-e-qubool or the dua.

London Colney sits at junction 22 of the M25, close to the A414 and A1081 roads south east of St Albans. For relaxed couple photographs, we like Napsbury Park and the water meadows along the River Colne, and The de Havilland Aircraft Museum at Salisbury Hall, home to three de Havilland Mosquitoes gives the day a strong sense of London Colney.
