A Female Photographer
A female second photographer for the ladies' side, so the women's mehndi and celebrations are fully covered.
Muslim wedding photography in Preston, documenting the pre-wedding events, the nikah and the reception, with an unobtrusive documentary eye and heirloom albums.
Serving Preston
Preston is a Lancashire city with a large South Asian community. Wherever your events are held across Fulwood, Bamber Bridge and Leyland, we plan the timings and travel with care. We photograph nikah ceremonies at mosques, banqueting halls and homes right across Lancashire.
We are a reassuring presence at the banqueting hall, so the baraat and walima flow naturally. Our approach is quietly documentary, so you can pray the dua and say the ijab-e-qubool without a lens in your face. We photograph the nikah with warmth and respect, mindful of the meaning behind the mahr and the dua.
We travel throughout Lancashire for nikah ceremonies, and Preston, a Lancashire city with a large South Asian community, is one we know well. We also photograph in nearby Blackburn and Burnley. Venues we know well in and near Preston include Preston Marriott Hotel, Imperial Banqueting and Stanley House.
Preston is a Lancashire city with a large South Asian community and the historic Preston Guild tradition. Preston railway station is a major interchange on the West Coast Main Line, with the M6 and M55 nearby. For relaxed couple photographs, we like Avenham and Miller Park, adjoining Victorian riverside parks by the River Ribble, and The Harris Museum, a grand classical building in the Flag Market gives the day a strong sense of Preston.

What we offer
A female second photographer for the ladies' side, so the women's mehndi and celebrations are fully covered.
Discreet coverage of the gender-segregated men's and ladies' sides, planned with care and modesty.
We work with respect for modesty and prayer times, quietly around the imam and the families.
Every tradition
We keep our distance during the most sacred moments and step in only for the joyful ones. We photograph the blessings and the prayers of the imam with reverence. At the heart of a Muslim wedding is the nikah, the marriage contract that joins the couple.
The music and dancing of the mehndi are pure joy, and we capture every bit of the energy. We are glad to cover a single event or the whole multi-day celebration. The reception and walima are the joyful finale, with speeches, family and dancing.

The whole celebration
Some couples keep an elaborate sequence of events; others a simpler one, and we shape coverage to yours. The mehndi brings an evening of henna, music and dance before the wedding day itself.
The best galleries are spread evenly across the day, not saved for the nikah alone. Whether the nikah and walima are on the same day or spread across a weekend, we plan for it.
Why choose us
We bring the steadiness that only comes from photographing the mehndi and the walima for twenty-five years. We know the rhythm of a nikah by heart, so the ijab-e-qubool and the mahr are always captured.
We are glad to discuss your masjid, your walima venue and the journey between them when you enquire. We are London-based but rarely in London; much of our work takes us to mosques and banqueting halls across the North of England.

Where we travel
We will travel to your nikah, your walima and your mehndi and dholki, wherever they are held. We cover the whole of the UK for Muslim weddings, so distance never stands between us and your nikah.

Good to know
Yes. Alongside your edited digital gallery we design a hand-finished, fine-art album, so the whole story of your celebration, from the mehndi to the walima, is held in something beautiful to pass down the generations.
Very. We photograph the nikah and the signing of the contract from a respectful distance with quiet, long-lens work, mindful of modesty and prayer times, so the ceremony is never disturbed.
Yes. We are comfortable photographing respectfully at the mosque, at home or in a banqueting hall, working quietly around the imam and mindful of prayer times, so the nikah is captured beautifully and never disturbed.
Yes. We photograph Pakistani, Bengali, Indian, Arab, Turkish and Somali Muslim weddings, and are familiar with the differences in their customs, the events they blend with the nikah, and the order in which the day unfolds.
Most Muslim weddings run from the morning preparations through to the walima, so full-day coverage works best. For multi-day celebrations, taking in the mehndi and the dholki, we tailor the hours to your events and your budget.
