Honouring every Sikh custom

The kirtan and shabads that fill the gurdwara are as much a part of the story as the laavan themselves. The four laavan, each a hymn the couple circle the Guru Granth Sahib for, are the heart of the ceremony, and we capture them with reverence. Before the ceremony the groom's sehra is tied, and we photograph the sehra bandi with a gentle eye.

We are glad to cover a single event or the whole multi-day celebration. From the first event to the last, we tell the full story of the celebration. The reception is the joyful finale, with speeches, the first dance, bhangra and giddha.
