Serving Barnet
Barnet is a leafy north London borough. We photograph Tamil weddings across Greater London, including Enfield, Brent, at temples, kalyana mandapams and banqueting suites. Whether your mandapam is in Barnet itself or elsewhere across Greater London, we plan the day around your venues.
We make sure the families are in the story too, not just the couple at the mandapam. We keep the calm of the mandapam and the energy of the reception in equal measure. Timing is everything in a Tamil wedding, and we plan our coverage around the auspicious muhurtham.
Whether your celebration is in Barnet itself or elsewhere in Greater London, we plan travel and timings with care. Barnet is a leafy north London borough. We also photograph in nearby Bexley and Brent. Around Barnet we regularly photograph at West Lodge Park, Hendon Town Hall and Cavendish Banqueting Suite, among others.
A leafy north London borough centred on the historic market town of Chipping Barnet, site of the decisive 1471 Battle of Barnet. High Barnet is the northern terminus of the Northern line. When there is time for couple portraits, Oak Hill Park in East Barnet is a favourite, and The Hadley Highstone monument at Monken Hadley marking the Battle of Barnet makes a memorable setting.

What we offer
The gentle swing ceremony, the songs and the rice balls warding off the evil eye, captured with a warm eye.
Iyer, Iyengar, South Indian and Sri Lankan Tamil weddings, with the customs understood.
The tying of the thali to the sound of the nadaswaram, the heart of the wedding, captured with reverence.
Every tradition
The oonjal, the gentle swing ceremony with its songs and warding off of the evil eye, is a moment we capture with warmth. The nadaswaram and thavil announce the sacred moments, and we are in position when they sound. We work quietly around the priests so the ceremony at the mandapam is never disturbed.
The mehndi is intimate and detailed, and we photograph both the henna and the laughter around it. From the first event to the last, we tell the full story of the celebration. We capture the family moments around the bride and groom, not just the rituals.

The whole celebration
The celebration usually builds gradually, from the quiet of the nichayathartham to the joy of the wedding morning. We tailor the hours to your events, whether it is one key day or a long weekend of celebrations.
We always recommend a little time for couple portraits, often away from the bustle of the mandapam. Because the muhurtham is early, we are ready and in position long before the auspicious hour arrives.
Why choose us
Couples choose us for our calm presence and our knowledge of every ritual, from the kashi yatra to the saptapadi. We bring the steadiness that only comes from photographing muhurthams and mandapam rituals for twenty-five years.
We cover the whole of the UK for Tamil weddings, so distance never stands between us and your muhurtham. We photograph across Greater London regularly, and travelling to a kalyana mandapam in Barnet is second nature.

Where we travel
Distance is never a problem; reaching your temple, your kalyana mandapam and your reception is simply part of how we work. From London we reach Barnet easily, and we know the kalyana mandapams of Greater London well.

Good to know
Yes. Alongside your edited digital gallery we design a hand-finished, fine-art album, so the whole story of your Tamil celebration is held in something beautiful you can pass down through the family for generations to come.
Most Tamil weddings run from the early-morning muhurtham through to the reception, so full-day coverage works best. For multi-day celebrations with a nichayathartham and mehndi, we tailor the hours to the events that matter most to you.
You will receive a small preview soon after the day, followed by your full edited gallery. We then design a hand-finished, fine-art album that holds the whole story of your celebration, from the first event through to the reception.
Absolutely. The nichayathartham, the mehndi and the sumangali prarthanai are often where the warmest, most natural moments happen, and we are glad to cover them as part of your wedding, with the same care as the ceremony itself.
Absolutely. We regularly cover the nichayathartham, the mehndi, the wedding muhurtham and the reception across several days in Barnet, with additional photographers for the largest celebrations, so no ritual or family moment is ever missed.
