Serving Hammersmith and Fulham
Hammersmith and Fulham is a riverside west London borough. Tamil and South Indian families throughout Kensington and Chelsea, Wandsworth trust us with their celebrations, large and small. From grand banqueting suites to intimate temple ceremonies, we are at home in every South Indian setting.
We capture the emotion honestly, from the laughter of the mehndi to the tenderness of the maangalya dharanam. We read the rhythm of a Tamil celebration and are always in position for the maalai maatral and the saptapadi. We blend candid storytelling with a handful of timeless portraits in your Kanjeevaram silk and temple jewellery.
From the muhurtham to the reception, we keep the day flowing across Greater London, and Hammersmith and Fulham, a riverside west London borough, is firmly within our patch. We also photograph in nearby Haringey and Harrow Weald. Local Tamil wedding venues we know near Hammersmith and Fulham include Linden House Riverside and The Queen's Club.
Hammersmith and Fulham is a riverside west London borough combining busy commercial centres with sought-after residential streets near the Thames. Hammersmith station serves the District, Piccadilly, Circle and Hammersmith & City lines, and the A4 runs through the borough. For relaxed couple photographs, we like Bishop's Park, a riverside park beside the Thames with tree-lined walks, and Fulham Palace, the former residence of the Bishops of London gives the day a strong sense of Hammersmith and Fulham.

What we offer
Hand-finished albums that hold the whole story of your Tamil celebration, from muhurtham to reception.
Familiar with Sri Lankan Tamil traditions and the rituals that make them distinct.
Beautifully bound albums built around the thali tying and the muhurtham, to pass down the family.
Every tradition
The thali, tied to the sound of the nadaswaram, is the sacred heart of the ceremony, and we capture it close. The saptapadi, the seven steps the couple take together, completes the marriage, and we photograph it with reverence. We keep our distance during the most solemn moments and step in only for the joyful ones.
The paalikai, when the seed pots are prepared, is a quiet, lovely ritual we cover with a gentle eye. We are glad to cover a single event or the whole multi-day celebration. We capture the family moments around the bride and groom, not just the rituals.

The whole celebration
The pre-wedding events often span more than one day, each with its own mood. The celebration usually builds gradually, from the quiet of the nichayathartham to the joy of the wedding morning.
Whether the wedding and reception are on the same day or spread across a weekend, we plan for it. From the early-morning preparations to the reception, we give every part of the day the same care.
Why choose us
We are award-winning photographers with a long history of Tamil and South Indian mandapam weddings. Twenty-five years behind the lens means we know exactly what follows the maalai maatral in the order of the day.
We are London-based but rarely in London; much of our work takes us to temples and mandapams across London and the surrounding area. From our London base, Hammersmith and Fulham and the rest of Greater London are an easy, familiar journey for a Tamil wedding.

Where we travel
From London we reach Hammersmith and Fulham easily, and we know the kalyana mandapams of Greater London well. We photograph across Greater London regularly, and travelling to a kalyana mandapam in Hammersmith and Fulham is second nature.

Yes. Alongside your edited digital gallery we design a hand-finished, fine-art album, so the whole story of your Tamil celebration is held in something beautiful you can pass down through the family for generations to come.
Auspicious Tamil dates in Hammersmith and Fulham book up well ahead, so we recommend enquiring as early as you can. Tell us your muhurtham date and we will confirm availability straight away, and hold it for you while you decide.
Most Tamil weddings run from the early-morning muhurtham through to the reception, so full-day coverage works best. For multi-day celebrations with a nichayathartham and mehndi, we tailor the hours to the events that matter most to you.
