We often take couples to Danson Park in Welling, with its large boating lake and open lawns for a few quiet portraits, and Danson House, a Grade I listed Palladian mansion set within Danson Park is a lovely backdrop nearby.

We photograph the maalai maatral, the exchange of garlands, with all of its energy and laughter. The nalangu, the playful post-wedding games between the couple and their families, is full of warmth and fun. From the henna of the mehndi to the songs of the oonjal, the events set the tone for the wedding.
