A ceremony at Leatherhead Registration Office in The Mansion on Church Street, where the State Room takes up to 58 guests, is as welcome as a country house day at Fetcham Park or a marquee at Denbies Wine Estate. Spare cameras, lenses and lighting come with us to Leatherhead, so one faulty item never decides what you receive. An engagement session in Park Gardens, with its views towards the Fetcham Downs and Norbury Park, can be added, as can a second photographer and a fine art album.
Surrey's Mole Valley shapes the day here, with the River Mole running through the town and Norbury Park sitting on its edge. That wooded estate, crossed by the Mole Gap Trail, is the strongest option for couple portraits, although tree cover means metering for the gaps in the canopy rather than for the shade.
