Manchester is a great northern city. From a quiet church ceremony to a large banqueting hall reception, we photograph the full range of venues in and around Greater Manchester, including Rusholme, Cheetham Hill and Longsight. During the ceremony we work quietly with longer lenses, so whether you exchange vows in a church, a register office or a garden, we stay unobtrusive and miss nothing.

Because we work by observing rather than instructing, the day stays yours from beginning to end, and the pictures simply remember it as it was. We give couples space to enjoy their own wedding, gathering the images around you rather than pulling you out of the moment for the sake of a shot. Two of us usually cover the day, one following you and one on the guests, so both sides of every moment are recorded without either of us crowding the room.

Manchester is a major northern city with one of the UK's largest South Asian communities and the famous Curry Mile in Rusholme. Manchester Piccadilly is the city's main railway station, with the M60 ringing Greater Manchester. For pre-wedding and couple portraits, we love spots such as Heaton Park, one of the largest municipal parks in Europe, with a hall and boating lake, with Manchester Town Hall, a Victorian Gothic Revival building in Albert Square close by for a striking backdrop.

The exchange of rings, the signing of the register and the walk back up the aisle all matter to us, and we cover each without asking you to pause. We keep to the edges during the ceremony, using quiet cameras and natural light so your officiant, your guests and your vows are never interrupted. Whatever words you speak and whoever leads them, we photograph the ceremony as a story, from the anticipation before it to the relief and joy after.

We set aside a little time for portraits, walking with you somewhere quiet for a handful of relaxed frames that still feel like you. From the morning preparations to the last dance, we cover the whole day, and we are glad to include an engagement shoot beforehand so you feel relaxed on camera. As the reception gathers pace, we keep moving, finding the hugs between old friends, the children on the dance floor and the quiet corners of joy.
