We photograph in a documentary way, recording the day as a story from the morning preparations through to the last dance, with as little interference as possible. Our couple portraits are unhurried and easy; we find good light, give a little gentle guidance, then leave room for you to relax and be yourselves.

We often take couples to The parkland and deer park of the Woburn Abbey estate, with mature avenues and open grassland for a few quiet portraits, and Woburn Abbey, the country house and family seat of the Duke of Bedford, set in a 3,000 acre deer park is a lovely backdrop nearby.

The cutting of the cake and the first dance often draw the whole room in, and we photograph them from within the crowd so the pictures feel shared. Long before the wedding, an engagement or pre-wedding shoot lets us get to know you, so the camera feels familiar by the time the day arrives.
