A baraat travels, and we meet it head-on rather than chase it from behind. Tell us which of them your family holds, and the kit gets planned around that, instead of hauling everything everywhere. Observational while the ceremonies run, directive only when groups or portraits need organising. Nothing sacred is paused so that it photographs better. Colour stays honest instead of fashionably faded, since half the story sits in what everybody is wearing.

Will you photograph the vidaai or bride's farewell?+

Yes, but not from arm's length. That farewell is nobody's performance, so the frame comes from deep in the room, tight through a long lens, and the shooting stops the instant the car pulls away.

Do you photograph the haldi or pithi ceremony?+

Yes. Haldi is messy, bright and genuinely funny, the point at which everyone's guard finally drops. We bring a camera body that can be ruined without regret and work close in, since the paste travels anyway.

Are you familiar with Tamil wedding rituals such as the muhurtham and thali?+

Yes. A muhurtham falls at an hour the family did not pick, often uncomfortably early, and tying the thali takes only seconds inside a press of relatives. Both get planned for, never discovered on the day.

How long after the wedding will we receive our photographs?+

A preview reaches you inside a fortnight. The complete edit follows within the period your contract sets out. Weddings spread over days take longer, because far more has to be culled, and slow beats padded.
