Serving Edinburgh
Edinburgh is Scotland's historic capital, with elegant venues. We are used to multi-venue days throughout Scotland, moving smoothly between Leith, Morningside and Portobello. Wherever your events are held across Scotland, we plan the timings and travel with care.
We bring a long lens and a light touch, so the most sacred parts of the day are captured from a respectful distance. We capture the emotion of the day honestly, from the laughter of the sangeet to the tears of the farewell. We photograph the small moments as carefully as the grand ones, the glances as well as the rituals.
From our London base we travel across Scotland for Asian weddings, and Edinburgh, Scotland's historic capital, with elegant venues, is a familiar destination. We also photograph in nearby Dundee and Aberdeen. Venues we have photographed at near Edinburgh include The Balmoral, Virgin Hotels Edinburgh and Cheval The Edinburgh Grand.
Edinburgh is Scotland's historic capital, with an Old Town and New Town divided by the green valley of Princes Street Gardens. Edinburgh Waverley is the city's main railway station and the busiest transport hub in Scotland. For relaxed couple photographs, we like Princes Street Gardens, the largest city park in the centre, in the shadow of the castle, with Holyrood Park and Arthur's Seat nearby, and Edinburgh Castle, the fortress overlooking Princes Street Gardens gives the day a strong sense of Edinburgh.

What we offer
The speeches, the first dance and the bhangra, captured to the very last guest.
The muhurtham and the tying of the thali, captured with care and respect.
Respectful, unobtrusive coverage in temples, gurdwaras and mosques.
Every tradition
For Sikh couples, the Anand Karaj and the four laavan in the gurdwara are the heart of the day, photographed with the calm the Guru Granth Sahib deserves. The garland exchange, when the couple meet with the jaimala, is a moment of pure joy we love to photograph. We know the order of the rituals in each tradition, so we are always in position.
The mehndi or henna night is intimate and detailed, and we photograph both the henna and the laughter around it. The reception is the joyful finale, with speeches, the first dance and the bhangra. We document the engagement and pre-wedding events that begin the journey, when families ask us.

The whole celebration
We tailor the hours to your events, whether it is one key day or a long weekend of celebrations. The days before the wedding often hold the most relaxed, candid moments of the whole celebration.
Just fifteen minutes is enough for a handful of timeless portraits near your venue. We always recommend a little time for couple portraits, often at golden hour, away from the bustle.
Why choose us
One studio, comfortable with every tradition, means you need only one experienced team for the whole celebration. We understand how much the day means, and we photograph it with the care it deserves.
We factor in travel and timings carefully, so we are always where we need to be. We travel happily across Scotland and the surrounding counties for the whole celebration.

Where we travel
From our London base, Edinburgh and the rest of Scotland are an easy, familiar journey. We are used to celebrations spread across several venues, and keep the day flowing between them.
