The Vidaai
The most emotional moment of the day, photographed with great sensitivity and care.
Natural, unobtrusive Hindu wedding photography in Loughton, honouring every ritual, Gujarati, Punjabi, Marwari and North Indian alike, told honestly and gathered into an album to treasure.
Serving Loughton
Loughton is an affluent Essex town on the edge of Epping Forest. Couples come to us from across the Home Counties, and Buckhurst Hill, Chigwell and Epping are firmly on our patch. We cover the whole of the Home Counties, and Loughton and the towns around it are well known to us.
We follow your family's customs closely and photograph them exactly as you keep them. We let the day unfold at its own pace and meet it with a quiet, watchful eye. We document each event as it happens, so your gallery feels true to the day you lived.
Hindu families across Buckhurst Hill, Chigwell and Epping trust us with their weddings, and Loughton, an affluent Essex town on the edge of Epping Forest, is a place we return to often. We also cover nearby Southend-on-Sea and Colchester.

What we offer
The most emotional moment of the day, photographed with great sensitivity and care.
Beautifully bound albums and fine prints designed around your favourite images.
For large mandap days, a second shooter covers the baraat and the bridal prep at once.
Every tradition
The exchange of garlands high above the guests is a moment of laughter and joy, and we are ready for it. From the kanyadaan to the saptapadi, the ceremony tells its own story, and we follow it closely. The blessings of the elders and the ashirwad close the ceremony, and we capture them with warmth.
We capture the lively baraat as the groom arrives, with the dhol, the dancing and the milni. The reception is the joyful finale, with speeches, the first dance and the bhangra. The griha pravesh welcomes the bride into her new home, and we are there for it.

The whole celebration
A multi-day Hindu wedding can run across three or four days, and we plan our coverage around all of them. The sangeet brings an evening of music and dance before the wedding day itself.
The story ends with the griha pravesh that welcomes the bride into her new home. We capture the reception in full, the speeches, the first dance and the energy of the floor.
Why choose us
Our experience across Gujarati, Punjabi, Marwari and North Indian weddings runs deep. We understand how much the day means, and we photograph it with the care it deserves.
We photograph across Essex regularly, and travelling to Loughton is second nature. We will travel to your mandap, your reception and your pre-wedding events, wherever they are held.

Where we travel
From our London base, Loughton and the rest of Essex are an easy, familiar journey. We are London-based but rarely in London; much of our work takes us across the Home Counties.

Good to know
Yes. We travel to Loughton and across Essex for Hindu weddings. The mandap ceremony and its many events are a speciality and distance is never a problem.
Very much so. We know the mandap rituals by heart, from the jaimala and kanyadaan to the pheras and the saptapadi, and we position ourselves so the sindoor and mangalsutra are always captured.
Yes. For larger Hindu weddings we bring a second photographer so the mandap rituals and the guests are both fully covered, and the baraat and the bridal preparations can be photographed at once.
Of course. We regularly photograph fusion and mixed-faith weddings, blending Hindu traditions with another family's customs with care.
Yes. Our style is mainly documentary, but we will also gather a handful of timeless couple and family portraits so your album has both.
