Serving Loughton
Loughton is an affluent Essex town on the edge of Epping Forest. Muslim families throughout Buckhurst Hill, Chigwell and Epping trust us with their celebrations, large and small. From Loughton we cover weddings right across Essex, at mosques, hotels, marquees and banqueting suites.
We capture the emotion honestly, from the laughter of the dholki to the tears of the rukhsati. Our style is unobtrusive at the masjid, so the nikah feels like yours and never a photoshoot. We move softly around the imam through the nikah, capturing the real moments rather than staging them.
We have photographed Muslim weddings throughout Buckhurst Hill, Chigwell and Epping for many years, and Loughton, an affluent Essex town on the edge of Epping Forest, is a familiar and welcome destination. We also cover nearby Southend-on-Sea and Colchester. Venues we know well in and near Loughton include The Kings Oak and Woolston Manor Golf and Country Club.
Loughton is an affluent Essex town on the edge of Epping Forest, in the Epping Forest district with much of the ancient woodland on its doorstep. Loughton Underground station is on the Central line of the London Underground. We often take couples to Epping Forest, the large ancient woodland and open space bordering the town for a few quiet portraits, and Lopping Hall, a Grade II listed Victorian public hall in the town centre is a lovely backdrop nearby.

What we offer
Hand-finished albums that hold the whole story of your nikah, mehndi and walima.
Pakistani, Bengali, Arab, Turkish and Somali nikah customs, each understood and honoured.
The imam or qazi's khutbah and blessing of the couple, photographed from a respectful distance.
Every tradition
We photograph the signing of the nikah-nama by the couple and their witnesses with quiet attention. We keep our distance during the most sacred moments and step in only for the joyful ones. The imam's khutbah and the dua that follows are moments of stillness we photograph with respect.
The music and dancing of the mehndi are pure joy, and we capture every bit of the energy. The dholki brings evenings of singing and drumming before the wedding, and we photograph their energy. We are glad to cover a single event or the whole multi-day celebration.

The whole celebration
A multi-day Muslim wedding can run across three or four days, and we plan our coverage around all of them. Many families hold a mangni long before the wedding, and a mehndi the night before the nikah.
We document the grand moments and the quiet ones in between, so nothing is lost. From the morning preparations to the final celebration, we give every part of the day the same care.
Why choose us
We are award-winning photographers with a long history of Muslim and Asian weddings, from the baraat to the walima. We have spent twenty-five years learning the detail of the mehndi and the nikah, and it shows in every gallery.
From our London base, Loughton and the rest of Essex are an easy journey for your nikah. Distance is never a problem; travelling to your mosque and banqueting hall is simply part of how we work.

Where we travel
We are glad to discuss your masjid, your walima venue and the journey between them when you enquire. Wherever your mehndi, nikah and walima take place across the Home Counties, we will be there in good time.
