Reverent & Discreet
We keep the calm of the mandap and work quietly around the pandit and the fire.
Timeless Hindu wedding photography in Solihull, covering the varmala, the kanyadaan and the pheras with a calm, careful eye, with warmth, discretion and beautiful albums to keep.
Serving Solihull
Solihull is an affluent town near Birmingham with grand venues. We travel throughout the West Midlands for mandap ceremonies, and Shirley, Knowle and Dorridge are all familiar to us. We photograph at temples, mandaps and banqueting halls right across the West Midlands.
We make sure the families are in the story too, not just the couple. We capture the emotion of the day honestly, from the laughter of the sangeet to the tears of the vidaai. We are calm and unhurried, gathering the whole story without ever getting in the way.
Much of our work takes us across the West Midlands; Solihull, an affluent town near Birmingham with grand venues, and the towns around it, including Shirley, Knowle and Dorridge, are very familiar to us. We also cover nearby West Bromwich and Walsall.

What we offer
We keep the calm of the mandap and work quietly around the pandit and the fire.
The haldi, mehndi and sangeet, where the warmest, most natural moments often happen.
Discreet, respectful coverage around the pandit and the sacred fire.
Every tradition
The exchange of garlands high above the guests is a moment of laughter and joy, and we are ready for it. We photograph the mangalsutra and sindoor, the signs of the new marriage, with tenderness. At the heart of a Hindu wedding is the agni, the sacred fire that witnesses the marriage.
We capture the lively baraat as the groom arrives, with the dhol, the dancing and the milni. From the turmeric of the haldi to the music of the sangeet, the events set the tone for the wedding. The mehndi night, the sangeet and the haldi each carry their own mood, and we photograph them all.

The whole celebration
Some couples keep an elaborate sequence of events; others a simpler one, and we shape coverage to yours. The early events are full of warmth and laughter, and we photograph them with the same care as the ceremony.
We know the order and timing of the wedding day, so we are always in position for each ritual. For the busiest days, a second photographer covers two moments at once, the baraat and the bridal prep.
Why choose us
Our long experience means a calm, capable presence whatever the day brings. Twenty-five years behind the lens means we know exactly what comes next in the order of the day.
We are glad to discuss your venues and the journey between them when you enquire. We cover the Midlands and beyond, and are glad to travel further afield on request.

Where we travel
We photograph across the West Midlands regularly, and travelling to Solihull is second nature. We are London-based but rarely in London; much of our work takes us across the Midlands.
