The exchange of consent and the joining of the two families is captured as it happens. The imam's khutbah and the dua that follows are moments of stillness we photograph with respect. The signatures of the witnesses that complete the nikah-nama are captured with care.

Where the celebrations are segregated, we cover the men's and ladies' sides with equal care. We capture the lively baraat as the groom arrives, with the family and the celebration around him. We photograph the sanchaq and the exchange of gifts between the families with all of their warmth.
