Serving Barking and Dagenham
Barking and Dagenham is an east London borough by the river Roding. We know the venues of London and the surrounding area well, and move easily between the ceremony and reception across Newham, Redbridge. We photograph at temples, mandaps and banqueting halls right across Greater London.
We let the day unfold at its own pace and meet it with a quiet, watchful eye. We are a reassuring, familiar presence, so everyone relaxes and the day flows naturally. We bring a long lens and a light touch, so the most sacred parts of the day are captured from a respectful distance.
Much of our work takes us across Greater London; Barking and Dagenham, an east London borough by the river Roding, and the towns around it, including Newham, Redbridge, are very familiar to us. We also cover nearby Barnet and Bexley. Barking and Dagenham and the towns around it offer venues such as Oasis Banqueting, Green Lane Banqueting and Crown Banqueting Suite, all familiar to us.
An east London borough by the river Roding, home to the Becontree estate, one of the largest council-built estates in the world. Barking station serves the District, Hammersmith and City and c2c lines, with the A13 running through the borough into central London. For portraits away from the celebration, Central Park in Dagenham, opened in 1932 on former Eastbrook Farm land works beautifully, and Barking Abbey ruins and the 15th century Curfew Tower beside St Margaret's Church adds a real sense of place.

What we offer
From the Ganesh puja to the griha pravesh, every day of the celebration covered.
At home with the mandvo, the pithi, the hastamelap and the four mangal pheras.
The speeches, the first dance and the bhangra, captured to the very last guest.
Every tradition
We anticipate the muhurat, the auspicious hour that sets the pace of the ceremony. The blessings of the elders and the ashirwad close the ceremony, and we capture them with warmth. We photograph the mangalsutra and sindoor, the signs of the new marriage, with tenderness.
The mehndi is intimate and detailed, and we photograph both the henna and the laughter around it. We capture the lively baraat as the groom arrives, with the dhol, the dancing and the milni. The reception is the joyful finale, with speeches, the first dance and the bhangra.

The whole celebration
A Gujarati celebration might open with the mandvo and grah shanti, followed by the pithi. Some couples keep an elaborate sequence of events; others a simpler one, and we shape coverage to yours.
We know the order and timing of the wedding day, so we are always in position for each ritual. On the wedding day, the baraat, the mandap ceremony and the pheras build to the vidaai and the reception.
