The awkward technical problem here is a low flame alight beneath a canopy while daylight floods in through windows behind it. Two sources of wholly different character, one warm and unsteady near floor level, one broad and blue from outdoors, reach the same faces at once. Never aimed at anyone. If a room really has run out of light, we lift a small amount off something pale overhead, so nothing fires into people's eyes. Agree it with your priest first, and if he would rather we used none, we use none.
