Weybridge is an affluent Surrey town with riverside venues. We photograph Hindu weddings across Surrey, including Walton-on-Thames, Woking and Esher, at mandaps, temples and banqueting halls. We cover the whole of the Home Counties, and Weybridge and the towns around it are well known to us.

We read the rhythm of a Hindu celebration and are always in the right place at the right time. We move quietly through the day, capturing the real moments rather than staging them. We work discreetly around the pandit and the families, never intruding on a sacred moment.

Much of our work takes us across Surrey; Weybridge, an affluent Surrey town with riverside venues, and the towns around it, including Walton-on-Thames, Woking and Esher, are very familiar to us. We also cover nearby Epsom and Camberley.

From haldi to vidaai

We anticipate the muhurat, the auspicious hour that sets the pace of the ceremony. The blessings of the elders and the ashirwad close the ceremony, and we capture them with warmth. The saptapadi, the seven steps the couple take together, seals the marriage, and we photograph it with reverence.

We are glad to cover a single event or the whole multi-day celebration. We capture the lively baraat as the groom arrives, with the dhol, the dancing and the milni. The sangeet is an evening of music and dance, and we capture all of its energy.
