Serving Rochdale

The story of your Rochdale wedding

Rochdale is a Pennine town with a diverse community. We are used to multi-venue days throughout Greater Manchester, moving smoothly between Heywood, Middleton and Milnrow. Right across Greater Manchester we photograph the colour and devotion of every event, large and small.

We photograph the solemn nikah as faithfully as the henna and dancing of the mehndi night. We balance documentary coverage of the baraat with a few quiet portraits, so your album holds both energy and elegance. Our style is unobtrusive at the masjid, so the nikah feels like yours and never a photoshoot.

Rochdale is a Pennine town with a diverse community, and we love photographing Muslim weddings here and across the North of England. We regularly cover nearby Bury and Stockport as well. Around Rochdale we regularly photograph at Rochdale Royale and Rochdale Town Hall, among others.

Rochdale is a Pennine town in Greater Manchester known as the birthplace of the Co-operative movement. Rochdale has a railway station and a Metrolink tram interchange, with the M62 passing nearby. For pre-wedding and couple portraits, we love spots such as Broadfield Park, a hillside park overlooking the town centre and town hall, with Rochdale Town Hall, a celebrated Gothic Revival building close by for a striking backdrop.

What we offer

Muslim wedding coverage in Rochdale

01

Multi-Day Celebrations

From the mehndi and dholki to the nikah and the walima, every day of the celebration covered.

02

The Mahr & The Dua

The agreeing of the mahr and the closing dua of the nikah, photographed quietly and respectfully.

03

The Rukhsati

The rukhsati, the bride's tender farewell as she leaves with the groom, photographed with great sensitivity.

Every tradition

The nikah, the mahr and the dua

We are ready for the agreeing of the mahr, the gift from the groom to the bride. We anticipate the reading of the vows and the signing of the contract, so nothing is missed. We photograph the blessings and the prayers of the imam with reverence.

The mehndi, the dholki and the walima each carry their own mood, and we photograph them all. The dholki brings evenings of singing and drumming before the wedding, and we photograph their energy. The pre-wedding events are often where the most natural photographs come from, and we give them full attention.

The whole celebration

From baraat to rukhsati

The early events are full of warmth and laughter, and we photograph them with the same care as the nikah. A Pakistani celebration might open with the sanchaq and dholki, followed by the mehndi night.

From the morning preparations to the final celebration, we give every part of the day the same care. We capture the walima in full, the speeches, the family and the energy of the floor.
